Why You Should Create A Blog

You should create a blog. That is if you want to establish yourself as an expert in anything, generate FREE targeted traffic or you’re looking for a way to make money online simply by talking about what you’re in to. This is what can happen when you create a blog.

Have you ever heard the saying, “If you do what you love, you’ll never work a day in your life.”? What this means is if your daily job or business involves something you are passionate about,  it won’t feel like work. This is why I say if you haven’t already done so, you should absolutely create a blog.

When you create a blog, you have a vehicle to convey your expertise and passion about whatever it is you are in to. Love basket weaving? Well, if you were to create a blog about basket weaving you could easily write articles, give advice and helpful tips to others seeking the exact information you have.

Then to make money with your blog and basically get paid to do what you love, you could simply sell your own products, your own hand-made baskets or even an ebook you could write about secrets of the wonderful world of basket weaving. You could also become an affiliate for companies that sell other related products such as basket weaving supplies, materials, etc.

See, blogs are universal. It really doesn’t matter what you are in to. If you create a blog and update it regularly with relevant information, people seeking the information you have will find you. There is no better way to generate loads of FREE, targeted traffic than to create a blog.

Other excellent reasons to create a blog are 1.) blogs are very inexpensive to run with hosting as low as under ten bucks a month 2.) you don’t need to be a professional writer or have any experience at all, and 3.) when you create a blog, you are establishing yourself as an expert on the topic you cover.

Whenever you have a need or a problem, you seek an expert, right? If you are having back problems, you go to a chiropractor. When your car needs fixed, you take it to a mechanic. Your drains in your house are backed up, you call a plumber. You see we are already predisposed to seeking an expert when we have a need, want or problem because it is understood they hold the answer to our problem.

So, when you create a blog, you provide the necessary answers to the people with respective questions. If you write it, they will come!

How many people actually find your blog and your information really depends on how optimized your blog is. Not all blogs are created alike. If you do not create a blog with SEO in mind, very little people may actually see and benefit from the information you can provide.

In order to get the amount of traffic necessary to provide value to others, not to mention get paid for your efforts, the blog you create needs to show up on the first page of Google and other search engines as often as possible.

To get your blog to the front page of Google search results, you really need to first learn the proper way to create a blog and have it optimized for better search results.
