How To Generate Massive Leads For FREE On Craigslist.

I used to think that Craigslist was a place in which people went to sell their crap.  It had sort of a dark connotation to it when you hit their home page.  It looks like a website that was set up in the late 1980’s.

It wasn’t until about three years ago that I realized that it was a whole lot more powerful then I thought.

Craiglist is the #39 most visited website IN THE WORLD. The majority of it’s visitors are between 25 and 34 years old and have a college education. YOWZA! Sounds like a great target market right?

So I started testing some ads on Craigslist 3 years ago, before I even had a landing page or a web presence and voila, I was able to generate leads and new business for FREE.  It was cumbersome though and I slowly faded it out.

About two months ago I decided to go back into Craigslist with a vengeance.  I was determined to make it work, driving traffic and crank out some serious lead flow, for FREE. And so I went to work.

I can’t even believe I am going to share this with you as it is my exact strategy that has enabled me to pull 26 leads in a single day and 5-10 leads a day consistently for the past few months.

I heard a very successful Internet Marketer once say, “Don’t be afraid to give your BEST stuff away”. So here goes:

Step #1 – Your going to want to create 10 different Gmail accounts (the more the better) but 10 for me was manageable.

Step #2 - Once you have opened those Gmail Accounts, now your going to go to http://Craigslist.org and open 10 accounts using those 10 gmail accounts.

Step #3 – Craigslist charges $25 per post per city in the “Hot Spots”, however there are a TON of city’s in which you can advertise for FREE, so fish around and find those.

Step #4 – Pick your city on the right side of the main page and on the top left (See Diagram)

Step #5 – Once you click on post to classifieds, your going to be taken to the posting page where your going to want to choose “Job Offered”. It’s the first choice on the page.

Step #6 – Once you agree to abide by the posting guidelines (don’t let them scare you),  you will be take to the choose a category page.  This is important so pay attention.

I use Sales Jobs and Real Estate Jobs categories and here is why….. Those are the people your looking to have on your team.

Step #7 - You want to be very savvy when creating your ad.  You are just trying to sell the click to your website and hopefully (if you know what your doing and your site converts), it will do the work from there.

Step #8 - For each account you can post to two different cities per day, but use a different ad in each city.  You can use the same ad in another account, but I would try to be as unique as possible.  If your post gets flagged, don’t post on that account for 2 days.

Final Thought – Like anything else in this world, persistent and consistent effort is what will bring results.  Don’t expect to hit a home run on your first day.  My results are not common as I am not common. I have learned how to write copy and connect with my audience.  Do it every day for 90 days and then come talk to me.

I just gave you the blueprint I use to generate FREE leads.  This should not be your only source of lead generation, but should be a part of your marketing arsenal.
