3 Really Good Copywriting Tips (That Work)
Everyone has copywriting tips, so you may have heard of these ones or you may have not. Either way, it is always good to refresh yourself on things that work. One really cool thing about studying copywriting tips is that you will actually never lose the power of copywriting once you own the skill. Unlike things like PPC, copywriting is always an evergreen deal. A lot of it is applied psychology as well, and so it is really interesting to study.
With that said, here 3 copywriting tips I have personally used in my business to get people to actually view my content.
1. A List
You're probably familiar with this one. Especially since I used it in the title of this post. A list is just that, 3 ways to build a network marketing business, or 7 ways to sponsor someone, or so on. People are inherently attracted to lists.
They want to know what's out there. Especially they want to know if they are on the list if the headline of the article relates to them somehow.
2. The Disclosure
I forgot the actual name of this technique, but disclosure is good enough. I also used it in the title of this article. Where I said (That work) it is like I am whispering to the reader, I am inherently taking away their doubts whether or not these are going to be really good copywriting tips or just total BS.
So again, use this when you can as an extra way to break-down the resistance that people have to click on your stuff. I've found it to be very powerful.
3. The Amazing How-to
People love learning how to do stuff, even if they never really plan on doing it. Just the idea of learning is fun to them and understanding how things work. That is why if you look at any big blog, you will notice a lot of their headlines begin with a "How to".
Use it to your advantage.
So there is my 3 copywriting tips, I know they are incredibly simple. But that's the thing, most of copywriting actually is not that complicated. Most of it is understanding the emotions that is going on in your target market more than anything else. Even though these techniques will surely help, the copywriting tips will be useless unless you are aware of what makes your target market really tick. That is why I always suggest researching it, look at forums and so on and you can start getting a good idea of your niche.
