The best email I have ever written gets double digit repsonse

 As a full time marketer for over 8 years 100% online without doing a single face to face presentation, I have written a ton of emails.  Some have been good some have been OK, but this emails when sent out after a long weekend gets more response than any other email I have ever sent.  Yes it is short, yes it is corny, but it works try it out and see for yourself.
 

SUBJECT: *NAME* Turn the alarm off today as well,  you have the day off with double pay!

We decided to finally pay you for your worth so we are doubling your pay.  We also feel it is not fair *NAME* , to ask you to fight the traffic so if you like you can now work from home.  Upon further review of you performance, we have come to the conclusion that patty; you are totally self motivated and are doing such a great job, that you no longer need any supervision.

Effective immediately patty; you have been promoted and do not need to report to anyone you now work for yourself.  We have also decided that it is cruel and unusual punishment to make you work for 40 years to get a measly government controlled pension; we therefore have put an expedited plan together to allow you to retire with a six figure residual income in only 4 to 5 years.  

 
We have also come to the conclusion that a happy worker is a more productive worker, from this date forward it will no longer be required for you to put in a set number of hours since we feel you are responsible enough to insure maximum productivity given that you are now being compensated for you results.  It is also no longer required for you to request days off or to limit your vacation time to only 1-2 weeks a year.  We feel that if you are working hard and meeting your own expectation level that you should be able to take as many days off as you would like.
