Why deliver happiness?  Why not deliver doom and gloom like the rest of the pundits out there?  Ray and Ferny think differently and delivering happiness is what they're good at; just like CNN is good at the constant negative news, Ray and Ferny are really good at delivering happiness to network marketing professionals.

My first NES I circumnavigated drunk drivers, fanatical "recovering" GA nut jobs (gamblers anonymous) e.g., the crazy fanatic who rushes to get to the next keeno draw and slot machine because it's going to change their life, and of course, the other angry inhabitants of the desert riding my bicycle 50 miles a day so that I could be a part of the first NES Event.

I didn't know anything about network marketing at the time - but I knew I had to be at NES because it would change my life.  It did.  I've grown a great deal both personally and professionally because of my continued drive to become a professional network marketer.  And, yes, it was worth riding my bicycle the 150 miles over 3 days in 110 degree heat to be a part of NES produced by Ray and Ferny.

Takeaway #1: Delivering Happiness Means Being Around Like-Minded People

Ferny Ceballos and Raymond Fong booked 24 speakers in a matter of 2.5 days at NESII.  These knowledgeable networkers spoke back to back about everything that encompasses your business, your networking, your success and your mindset.

I learned that everyone has information to give (not just the speakers) and the more you talk to them the better you're going to be.  For example, I ran into a very successful business-woman I had met previously at another event.  Turns out we've talked every day since we met up at NESII and we're now joint venturing on two new business ventures together.  You never know who you're going to meet.  Like-minded networkers delivering happiness to one another by creating business ventures together.

Takeaway #2:  Delivering Happiness Means Doing Whatever It Takes

This business takes the most out of you and delivers the best of you to yourself when you do whatever it takes to make your business successful.  Collectively this was an amazing event, not just because of the speakers but because at least 5 continents were represented at this event.  People traveled from South America, North America, Australia, Africa and Asia just to be at this event.  Doing whatever it took for them to get to NESII; they got in the game and they stayed in the game despite their jet lag and their tired bodies.  They did whatever it took and that's delivering happiness to all of us who attended because it shows everyone the commitment in this business is strong.

When I started in this business I didn't realize how much I would have to sacrifice and how many struggles I would have, but that's another story.

Making money is not easy; if it were, everyone would be doing it and we wouldn't have the economic downturn we've seen so prevalent in the past 10 years.  If making money were so easy you wouldn't have the stories of the trials and tribulations that all of these network marketing professionals have about how they got started.

It's not easy, and it's not without it's failures.  But, if it's worth it to you, to really dig deep and do whatever it takes to deliver happiness to yourself, your family and whomever else you come into contact with on a regular basis then you'll find a way to make it happen.  Every single one of these network marketing professionals have had their fair share of failures - they did whatever it took for them to get to where they are right now and by doing so they imparted happiness on all of us the last weekend in April 2011.  Delivering Happiness:  Raymond Fong and Ferny Ceballos proved that's what this business is all about.
