Design a Simple Sales Funnel

A sales funnel is an absolute necessity to any online marketer. That sales funnel must begin with an enticing offer, gradually qualify your leads, and ultimately provide you with prospects for your business. As simple as this process sounds, the sales funnel is the most elusive thing for network marketers growing their businesses online. Why? Most people who start in network marketing don’t know how to market (present company included). All you know is that you have a blog or website, and now what? Learning the basics of a sales funnel will only enhance your ability to grow your network marketing business online and help you generate the income you deserve!

Sales Funnel Part 1 - Lead Capture Page

The first part of your sales funnel is the lead capture page. This is the page where a visitor can put in their name, email address, and if you’re lucky enough – a phone number! The reason you want this information is so that 1. You know who visited your website, and 2. You can contact them – whether through email, phone, or both! This is valuable information to have. The people who entered their information are the ones you have connected with in some way, and you want to build on that connection.

Sales Funnel Part 2 - Autoresponder Series

The autoresponder is what will help you build your relationship with your visitors through email, and if set up properly, it can be done on autopilot with little work from you. When the visitor opts-in or signs up on your website, they will start to receive a series of messages you have preloaded into your auto responder. The best autoresponder I know of is AWeber – and is what I use. However, there are other choices out there. The main thing you want from your autoresponder is reliability and responsiveness from support.

Sales Funnel Part 3 - Funded Proposal

The funded proposal is HUGE! It is a marketing technique by which you can sell a product and begin the relationship with your clients. By having a funded proposal, you will be able to generate some cash flow to sustain your business. The funded proposal is a low-cost product that provides value to your target market. It can be in the form of a video series, and eBook, coaching, and Private Label Rights (PLR) material. The funded proposal is where you start to qualify your leads. If the lead purchases your generic product, they are more likely to buy from you again.

Sales Funnel Part 4 - The End Product

This is the ultimate destination for your prospects. What do you really want from them? Do you want them to join you in business? Do you want them to buy your product? Keep in mind; you will be building a relationship – even if by email. Your email marketing will eventually turn into a series regarding your business. Please note that you should NOT market a business opportunity up front. It is usually a turn-off, and you have no idea if the lead is even qualified to be a part of your business. I’ve given you a summary of the sales funnel. I hope this helps you connect the dots in your online marketing business! If you found value in this post, please share with your friends.
