Here are some fundamental principles of list building: list building is the process in which we collect database of online likeminded individuals who are interested in same niche that your website revolves around.

Actually we add people in our list or email database so that we can send them repeat information, invitations, update etc about our site or products.

In this way we invite people to visit our site and buy some product which they like. The more times people are exposed to the information on your web site, the more likely it is that they will eventually buy something from you.

So the basic idea of building a list is that you have the opportunity to build a list of email addresses to which you can mail your latest promotions and interesting content.

I think to identify a target for list building, you have to first identify your market. To whom do you sell? Doctors, students, pet lovers? Whom you sell is basically your target market in list building we generally refer to that target market as a niche market, or niche.

A perfect list building that is according to your niche will definitely boost up your profit; a small list building of real niche is much better than that of a huge list which is not suitable for your product.
