Well, after listing your friends and family, your postman, hairdresser, doctor, dentist and the cashier at your local supermarket you probably realised that you know more people than you think.

When you are building your networking business online your email list is where your power resides once you have built a relationship with your subscribers.

The reason for writing out a list in the traditional way of networking is to use the influence you already have with people you already know because you have built a relationship with them. If someone influential you know, like and trust makes a recommendation you are more likely to be open to looking at what they suggest to you.

It is a well known fact that people join people not "opportunities" so if you are a valuable person outside of your network marketing company then you will be able to conduct value based sponsoring. Your prospects will be interested in joining you becuase you have something to offer outside of the business opportunity. This is why successful network marketers are able to move to new companies and start from scratch and build large teams in a short period of time, they offer VALUE.

How Do You Do This Online?

You need to use a marketing system that enables you to generate leads and build your list. By offer valuable information and skill based training you will be able attract prospect to you using attraction marketing. Once you have captured your prospects information in exchange for the information that they want, you can then start to build a relationship with them. Initially you could call them to introduce yourself and find out what their needs are and then use your autoresponder to develop the relationship with them further. By using a marketing system that offers valuable marketing training and an affiliate programs you can start to generate an income that can be used towards your advertising budget to build your network marketing business.

There really is no need to go around pitching your business when you come from a place of offering value.
