Yesterday I talked about the drama some people inject into their attempt to make money in their mlm and I know that you will love that post also. I know there are many of those “Reality TV” and “Survivor” is the most popular. I am seeing more and more people that approach their MLM the same way. In fact I just talked to someone yesterday that said she had to make this work in the first two weeks! Talk about setting yourself up for failure! Man I wouldn’t bet on that one! Making money in MLM is not a survivor episode, but a continuous day to day to day process.

In the beginning I was not very skilled, what I was taught was to buy leads on credit and then call like crazy every day! Well I did that, and although I would never recommend that to anyone now it was a great learning ground for me and the skills I got from that was priceless. I am never afraid to pick up the phone now and I can help many people because of those skills that I learned then.  But the point is you want to make money in MLM now, even today? The reality is that it doesn’t work that way, it is based on performance and numbers. It is also based on a lot of people doing a little bit! Most people when they start out want to have a small amount of people doing a lot! It was said best by Jim Rohn: “What you lack in skill you must make up in numbers!” At the beginning you will not have those skills so like me you will have to expect to do the numbers!

Making Money In MLM Works Better When Supplemented By Affiliate Commissions

I used to be an MLM purest and when I was I was broke and desperate! I had this hungry hunter attitude towards my prospects and they ran away fast! Making money in mlm works better when it is supplemented by affiliate commissions! When you have a little coming from various affiliate programs, which are high quality tools and training, you are not worried about how fast people join you in your MLM! Making money in MLM through a funded proposal which is nothing more than an affiliate program or a way to offer those tools and training which your prospect needs anyway, helps to build that small income to support that MLM.

You can build a relationship with them which has been proven to be a much better way to create those long-lasting distributors and customers for your MLM! And I can tell you from my own personal experience that it is much better to share a tool that works and can take care of their immediate need, than it is to push someone into your MLM and come out feeling a bit dirty later!
