A funded proposal is a marketing technique that consists of selling an introductory or affiliate program to your prospect to welcome them to your sales funnel. The idea is to make enough money from the lead-in product to cover your costs of generating the lead. It works even better if you can actually make a profit from the process.

Much of my marketing training has come from the elite affiliate marketers. Why? Because they know how to sell. They know how to make an irresistible offer. And they can build an email list of prospects as easy as setting up a capture page. Why is this important to us, as network marketers?

Because your business will never survive long enough to get into profit with the average MLM if you're not making some up front money. If you don't have cash flow, it's just a matter of time before you're out of business. And that sucks.
