2. RE: coops. In marketing there is a
fundamental teaching that we are always
and ONLY marketing to “close” the “next step”
in the process.

This means when you’re writing an ad,
you’re ONLY looking to “close” on the “click”
of your ad… when people come into your
lead captrue page the ONLY thing you’re
focused on is NOT “making a sale” but
ONLY and ALWAYS focused on “getting the opt’in”
at the capture page…

It’s SOOOO hard to teach this concept to
“network marketers” because it’s all about PATIENCE.

It’s a MARKETING concept and not a
“network marketing” concpet.

Usually the network marketers is passionately
expecting EVERYONE to fall in love instantly
with their MAIN PROGRAM and JOIN FAST.

But that’s NOT the way MARKETING works.

It’s a process.

The process is step by step and demands patience.

SO, what am I talking about…
THE CO-OP
Here’s what you MUST MUST MUST
understand as you go into the strategy
of CO-OP advertising.

Network Marketers usually are ONLY interested
in SALES OF THEIR PROGRAM!

“How many sales of your main program did
you get from the “coop?”

That’s ok to focus on… but here’s the REAL
FOCUS OF ANY COOP ADVERTISING
IN MARKETING:
“GET LEADS GENERATED INTO YOUR LIST!”
THAT is a “victory” for any coop and really
ANY cold to market advertising campaign.
You will NOT get the “sign up” until and
unless that person feesl comfortable with
YOU, your info and TRUSTS you to join.

That takes time when the person has NO CLUE
who you are or what you stand for.
SOOOO the coop’s mission is to GENERATE
LEADS FOR YOU.
NOT SALES.
Sales… ultimately… some fast, some slower…
but NOT NOW and NOT THE FOCUS.
So if you invest, lets say: $240 into a coop…

And it has some kind of “Fr’ee offer” for the
market… then the market will CLICK ON THE AD…

Now they are on your capture page…

Notice the capture page is VERY SPECIAL
here… it’s a completely “no risk” no brainer
FREEEEE Offer to “PLEASE OH PLEASE
STRANGER, OPT’IN TO MY PAGE AND
BECOME MY LEAD…
That is the goal…

Remember… the “game” is:

Can this coop generate lower cost leads for
me than a lead company.. and will these leads
be of better quality that just walking into a
“lead store” and ordering a batch cold for
$100 bucks…???
That is the focus.
After the capture page… those OPT’INS are now
on your list… and now it’s YOUR job with your
emails (remember my daily emails to you?) with
your emails to BUILD RAPPORT, BUILD TRUST…

DELIVER VALUABLE INFO and INVITE THEM
TO REVIEW (not join) YOUR PROGRAM…

this might take some time (days, weeks,
months, whatever)…
THAT is the focus.
Now some of those opt’ins will immediately
get to the first offer in the “FUNDED PROPOSAL”
part of your cold market COOP campaign in which
the goal is to MONETIZE and RECOUP your advertising costs…
Usually this will be a low priced “no brainer” offer
so that you get as much conversion as possible…
example: a $20 offer where you get pa’id maybe
$20 per sale on a 100% commission quick hit
value offer… there are literally 1,000s of ways to
do this and good coops will have this included…
So now some of your OPT’INS from the COOP are
ordering a $20 offer… and you’re making $20 back…
which offsets the $240 you paid for the coop…

COOOOOOL!
This means you can keep advertising…

And this first little offer gets most of your mo’ney back in time…

Perpetual advertising.
Next step:

THEY ARE ALL ON YOUR LIST!!!

That is priceless…
Because now whether they bought into the
$20 offer… or not… they are still receiving cool,
value emails from you… “getting to know you”
on facebook… and being invited to call you with
any questions… = RELATIONSHIPPING!!!
Now your emails invite them to call you… and to
review this program you ARE SO PASSIONATE
ABOUT!!! (ROI Unlimited etc)
BACK END MARKETING

FUNNEL MARKETING

PROFESSIONAL MARKETING
This is how it’s done.

You generate sales of your main program on the
back end after you’ve “worked your face off” to
allow the customer to “fall in trust” with you…
(now do you guys see “how I market” and why
my emails say what they do?)

That’s my process no matter what…

It takes PATIENCE.
This is why it’s AWESOME to have both
options running at the same time:

1. Advertising (like coops etc) and marketing
so you build like a real business operation with
patience, a process and time. Trust manufacturing
leading to sales…

2. CAP: PIF where you can SKIP all that “marketing”
kung fu and just freaking BUY A CUSTOMER.

Period. End of story.
Either way…

Whether you invest $250+ per share of some ad coop….

OR

You invest $250 to just buy a customer in…

It’s totally your choice which you want to go with…
But I want to be sure you’re LEARNING REAL
MARKETING so you understand the PROCESS.
SUMMARY:

In cold marketing I am NEVER looking to just
“slam a sale” into ROI Unlimited. NEVER!!!!

I’m patient.

Like a Navy Seal or CIA operative…

I’m methodical…

step by step and disciplined.
You focus first on:

1. GET THE LEAD
2. BUILD THE TRUST
3. “Fall in like” with me
4. Invite you to the inner circle (roi unlimited)
5. Do you need training or tools?
6. Do you want private coaching?
That is a business.
The more direct way too for new people
AS THEY LEARN AND PRACTICE
REAL MARKETING:

1. Screw all that.
2. Buy a customer.
3. Plug new guy into team.
4. Teach new guy to buy a customer.
5. Plug new guy into team (for training).
6. Rinse and repeat.
EITHER WAY…
FOCUS
CONSISTENCY
Wins the battles and builds a business.
You’re selling YOUR TRUST
You’re selling YOUR RELATIONSHIP
You’re NOT selling a “biz op”
If you truly get under and behind and
BUY INTO that philosophy, you’ll feel more
confident and be on the way to building
something powerful for the long term.
