Hey You! Get Back to Work!

You have been up since six o’clock this morning. The only thing that you had for breakfast was a bowl of cereal and half a granola bar (Who knows who ate the other half). You have been working your butt off for the last 4 hours. Your lunch break is a whole hour away, and you don’t think you’re going to make it!

You look back and forth at the clock as if it is the good looking girl in your speech class. The only problem is, it never seems to the clocks hands have stopped moving! It is stuck on 11:00 without any sign of changing any time soon.
 
Your hands start to shake, your knees start to buckle, a drop of sweat drips off of your face and falls to the counter top.
 
Then it happens. You let off a sigh of relief as you “take a break”. You take your hands off of the cash register, lean back, and wipe the sweat off of your forehead.
 
Just as you’re about to get comfortable, you hear the never-forgetting voice “Hey you! Get back to work!”
 
Immediately you are back to your post working as if that short time away had never happened.
 
You are simply a cashier at your local convenient mart.
 
You never had the option to take a break because of the penalty that would follow.
 
Now the question is what is going to happen next time you try to take that god blessed break without a boss breathing down your neck?
 
Would your six second grasp for air turn into a 60 minute reflection on life (TV Break:)
 
Maybe, maybe not.
 
Who knows, without a boss, would you ever even get back to work?
 
So many people join network marketing to get rid of that atrocious boss, yet at the same time they have absolutely no work ethic without one breathing down their throat.
 
They look at themselves in a mirror, and ask it why they are failing; when it’s simple you are talking to a dang mirror instead of working on your business!!
 
People have no problem whatsoever doing work for someone else, but as soon at it comes time to do some of their own; O god let’s not even get me started.
 
Way to many people fail just because they are not use to having that freedom to do what they want when they want. Everyone wants the choice, but most do not know how to use it.
 
Is it even possible for a person to make the switch from corporate America to the home business world?
 
Well obviously it is, look at all the people that have.
 
But how?
 
Well there is a simple solution to a difficult question.
 
Write it down.
 
Just like on a lead capture page you cannot expect your visitor to scroll down. So what did you do? You made sure to have the best headline possible above the fold.

Same goes with you. You cannot just expect that you are going to do your work tomorrow all on your own, so every night before you go to bed write down exactly what you have to do the next day on a sheet of paper.
 
First of all just to make sure that you remember it the next day. I have my very best ideas every single night right before I go to bed, and I write them all down, or else I would most likely forget them.
 
Second a person is much more likely to do something if they write it down. It is kind of like having a short term goals list.

Just do that until you break free of needing someone hovering over you to keep up your work ethic.
 
It't time for a change.
 
It's time to stop the failing.
