How To Become Part of the 3% in MLM

Did you know you that 97% of the people who get started in MLM fail? There are 30 million active people in MLM today. So that means 27 million are going to fail.

Why so much failure? And how do you become part of that small 3% who succeed?

First let me discuss why 97% of the people fail. Lets start with going way back to our childhood. When we get to the age of about 5, kindergarten starts. 5 Days a week, for 9 months out of the year, we do the same routine. Get up, sit in a class for 8 hours then go home.

This goes on for 12 more years. At the end of the 12 years we are conditioned to get up, go someplace for 8 hours and then go home. The classroom turns into the job. The once grade, turns into a paycheck.

It’s actually not our fault that we fail at a busines or network marketing. When we sign that distributor form, we are in business for ourselves. No one is there to tell us what to do. Our childhood conditioning is telling us that this business stuff, is just not right for us. And then we quit and go back to our jobs.

I’m going to give you 6 steps you can follow to get out of the 97% and jump over to the 3%. Before I do that let me ask you this. What is the 3% that we want to be a part of?

This group has more time, money, and freedom to do what they want, when they want. And they can do it with whom every they want. These are the people we see walking across the stage at the company events. These are the ones we want to be like.

1. Do the opposite

Find out what the other 97% are doing, and do the complete opposite. Just look at what most people are doing in network marketing. How they present themselves. How do they talk. Are they motivated or are they always down on themselves. If you see others always complaining about everything. Then just look at that one area, and do the opposite.

2. Never quit

This one step is really all you need to know. It’s easy to just quit and go back to your job. That is what everyone does. No one will ever say that building an MLM business will be easy. The 3% group never quit, no matter what is happening around them.

3. Stick with one company.

The 3% find one company they like and stick with it for 10-20 years. Everyone else will jump from one company to the next. If your jumping around company to company you will never build a foundation to let your MLM business grow.

4. Get focused

Eliminate all distractions around you. It’s time to turn off the TV. Put the golf clubs away. Take the games, put them away. Tell your drinking buddies you will see them later after you build your business. Set your goal to become part of the 3% group. Get focused on that one goal. Then stay focused until your reach your goal.

5. Set goals each day

Each day you have about 12 hours to work on your business. And each day you want to start with small goals you can reach. Setup how many calls you will make today. How many people you can talk with. How many articles or videos can you create. Everyday your goals should be small and attainable. Because if your consistent, you will see these goals multiply over time.

6. Find a mentor

Pick out someone who you want to learn from. You don’t have to know this person on a personal level. Find someone on the Internet who is very active and always giving training. All the people in the 3% are helping others to succeed. Find someone who you can learn from and do as they say. Humble yourself because they truly want to make you a success, but you need to leave your ego at the door.
