How to Get People to Watch Your Company's Presentation Without Pitching & Arm-Twisting
I don't know about you but I get pitched a LOOOOT on Facebook and Linkedin...
MANY people are sending me messages asking me to "watch a brief company presentation" or "check out their business site" and get back to them with any questions.
MOST of them don't even "know" me at all and have never had a conversation with me before.
Furthermore, I have people who have subscribed to my list to learn more from me, replying to my emails and pitching me their opportunity.
It always amazes me as I keep sending emails filled with useful information and marketing tips.
I mean, these people should know that I am:
1. Very happy with my primary company, its timeless product, leadership and support and the marketing system that I use.
2. Very successful at what I do.
3. Not looking for any opportunity or system and I like pitching about as much as I like lice in my hair.
BIG MASSIVE TURN-OFF!
So, I just unsubscribe them from my list.
Harsh?
Not at all!
I'm already trying to help them out but they choose to ignore my advice and tips...
Their LOSS!
See, they don't care about me and what I need, they're just interested in recruiting me using a very impersonal approach.
They should have taken the time to build a relationship with me first to find out how they could best help me, and wouldn't just push their opportunity down my throat...
When people constantly send unsolicited messages and post on others' walls about how incredible their business opportunities are...
It means that: They are not successful in their businesses, because if they were, they wouldn't need to use these tactics...
You'd never see successful marketers pitching their opportunities all over the place...
NEVER!
So, for those who are not on my list and pitching me on social media, I use a different approach...
I don't get upset and offended...
I offer them help and try to show them how to market online...
It's all about building a rapport and showing interest in them to see how you can help them.
Yes, some of them can be very rude, even when it's very clear that they need your help.
Now, if you don't know HOW to start the conversation and push your own agenda and links forward, then you're going to lose them.
Here's the thing, trying to get people to watch your company's presentation about their product line, comp plan etc, is not going to build you a thriving business.
This is not the right way to get total strangers in to your business...
People don't like to hear about another opportunity. They don't like to be sold.
People join people NOT opportunities.
Plain and simple...
So, you should never mention your company or products on the front end of your business...
People will join you because they "know" you and you've proven that you can help them, not because your company is the best in the entire industry.
As the saying goes, "know me before you kiss me!"
Now, do you know how to sponsor people into your business without pitching and arm-twisting?
If you don't, no worries...
I didn't know either, until I read Mike Dillard's Magnetic Sponsoring book...
Knowing how to recruit people without pitching can TRANSFORM your business in a BIG way...
Having people contacting me wanting to join my company, instead of the other way around is just AMAZING!
I'm even getting paid by prospects who don't join my business!
And, it's not tricky at all...
You just need someone to show you HOW...
