Have you ever believed such statements?

A couple of months ago, a very close friend of mine, ask me: “Hey man..I know you are involved in some kind of Internet Business and by the way you behave lately, it looks interesting..what is it all about?”
 
Now, instead of pitching him my opportunity, I kindly sent him an email with the link to my “leads capture page” that I was using back then which honestly started with a headline very similar to the title of this article.
 
So, once he opted in and checked out the stuff, he call me and said: “Cesar..I know you are a very serious guy when it comes to business and I really trust you BUT I don’t believe such income claims..they ALL sound full of BS to me..As a matter of fact, I’m tired of getting spam into my inbox each freaking day with that kind of stuff..”
 
Well, I can’t even explain to you the IMMENSE value I got from that experience..
 
Or...
 
Wait..Actually I can..
 
You see, I wasn’t trying to recruit my buddy Oscar, but accidentally his opinion made all sense to me when I read this quote the other day: “Your most unhappy customers are your greatest source of learning.” – Bill Gates
 
And they certainly are. (even if they check your stuff by “accident”..)
 
As a matter of fact, once that hit me, I started to go over some of my old notes (I confess that my home office it’s a mess when it comes to find something that is not my hard drive) and found something that made me meditate deeply...
 
I found some notes about the well recognized Internet Marketer and Entrepreneur Eben Pagan where he talks about the “5 Key Areas of Business” and I want to share with you  the first 3 for the main purpose of this exercise..(each point is explained in my own words by the way)
 
YOU: That’s right. You are the focus and source of all the bright ideas that will create success (or failure) in your business and here is where the foundation starts.
 
YOUR Market: If you are new to marketing, know this: focus only on those who are looking exactly what you have to offer. Period.
 
YOUR Marketing: The way you express your message to your audience is critical when it comes to attract the “right people”. Learn the skills that will let YOU achieve your goals.
 
I can see now that Oscar (my buddy) trusted me because he knows pretty well, but at the end I sent him the wrong message with my marketing.
 
By adapting this example to our market, there is no doubt in my mind that lazy marketers are everywhere in the Web nowadays, desperately pitching their opportunities to “buyers” and gaining their desbelief along the way.
 
This kind of income claim is just ONE of example of the immense amount of stuff that this lazy ones are using to make sales online and the ones who are looking for information about starting businesses are sick of it..
 
As a marketer, it is critical for you to understand that giving away valuable information is the BEST when it comes to gaining the trust of a prospect and that by establishing that bond, you have won a lot...
 
I no longer sit and wonder why some have success in life and others don’t..
 
Now, I realize that success is just the result of working smarter than others and that the tremendous growth of this Industry is the most motivating energy of all.
 
Bottom line? Get of your butt and play smart!
