Marketing You, Inc. to Create a Successful Online Business

When most people start a network marketing business, they focus on telling everyone what fantastic products and services they have.  Especially when they start to market online, they emphasize telling everyone that they have the best products on the planet and how their products are so much better than everyone else. 

But any savvy online entrepreneur knows that people only buy from individuals who they know, like and trust.  They know that they are most important factor in any sale they make.  So they focus on branding and marketing themselves as leaders who are solution providers.  They present themselves as someone who offers valuable content and information for others.  They seek to build relationships with their prospective customers and stand out from the crowd.

How do you do that if you are new to online marketing?  How do you brand yourself as a leader?  The first step is to see yourself as a leader.  You cannot brand yourself as a leader if you don't see yourself as a leader.  Choosing to start a business is a sign of leadership.  Also, review your past experiences noticing when you've taken steps to move towards your goals, no matter how small they seem.  This is also a sign of leadership.

You can also create an avatar, an image of the leader you want to be.  On one page of a journal, list the names of leaders in your business who you admire.  List their characteristics that you want to emulate.  Write your name at the top of the next page, and list your characteristics.  Be brutally honest, list the good, the bad and the ugly.  Notice the feelings of disconnect as you compare the two lists. You may feel uncomfortable at this time, so breathe into the feelings, accepting the disconnect.

Now create a character based on the characteristics of the people you want to emulate.  If your name is Jill, you could call your character, "Magnificent Jill".  Write Magnificent Jill (or the name of your character) on another page and list the qualities that you want to emulate.  Play the role of this character; walk as if you were "Magnificent Jill".  How would Magnificent Jill present herself in a video?  Imagine yourself as the character as you write articles, or blog posts.

What problems do other entrepreneurs face?  As you write articles and create videos that solve these problems, you will stand out from the crowd.  When you promote your products or services, you focus on how you will help others achieve their goals.  People online realize that you are an effective leader who will help them achieve their goals.  As more people choose to join your team, you are creating a successful online business by helping others live their dreams.
