We’ve all heard it – to be successful in network marketing FAST you need to take MASSIVE action. But what is massive action? Follow these network marketing success tips to see if your internet marketing activities are really going to work for you….

How much of your time do you spend editing your blog template, adding widgets, finding new plugins etc? If the answer is more than an hour a week – stop it! A fancy blog will NOT build your MLM if you haven’t got a TON of traffic coming to you. It’s content, keywords and traffic that matter, NOT the color of your links!

How much time do you spend editing videos? How many times do you re-take a video before you call it good to publish? If you are trying to get the perfect video every day you are wasting time that you could spend PROMOTING it and growing your network marketing team. How many links could you post on Facebook groups in that amount of time? How many prospects could you show your MLM business in that amount of time? Could you write an article in the time it takes to add a fancy soundtrack and text to your video? Just shoot your videos and get them out there. The more you do imperfect videos the more relaxed you will become and so the better and more natural your videos will be!

How often do you check your email? Even if it’s right on your computer, if you are getting 100+ emails per day like me and you are checking it EVERY time it goes “PING!” you are wasting valuable time. Don’t let yourself check your email more than every 30 minutes. Better still, close your email until you’ve finished a few of your daily tasks, check it, then close it again and move on to your next internet marketing tasks.

Do you have a list of tasks you complete every day? Consistency is key in internet network marketing. The more consistently people see you out there the more you will become a part of their online experience. It may be weeks before they even visit your blog but if they see you every day they will realize that you are a SERIOUS network marketer. They will see that you follow a system that works, because if it wasn’t working you wouldn’t keep doing it right? Write out a list of things you can absolutely commit to doing EVERY DAY and don’t sleep til it’s done.

Take a look at what’s on your list? Each task needs to fall into one of these categories – Traffic generation, lead generation, exposure and relationship building/prospecting.

Traffic Generation – Content content content! The more videos and articles you can get out there the better. The more links you can share through Facebook (keep it valuable content not your business opp!) and through tribes like The Unified Tribe the more people will come and check out your blog. Google isn’t king anymore. I get a ton of traffic through Facebook every day just by posting a few links to my blog posts, sending a message to my group and sending out my video emails to new friends.

Lead generation – Really the more traffic you are getting the more leads you will get, but make sure you are always giving your visitors more and more reasons to join your list. Don’t spend too much time making fancy trainings to give away, but do keep your offers tempting. Lead generation also includes adjusting your PPC, placing ads etc.

Exposure – Do WHATEVER it takes to get your name out there. Stay up til 3am on webinars just to have your name mentioned ONCE when you ask a question (and ALWAYS ask questions). Connect with people, especially big names. Let them know that they have helped you out, send them emails, ask for help, show them you are committed and soon you will start to get recognized. Make testimonial videos whenever you get the chance or when someone has helped you out. Do interviews if you are asked to. Create your own network marketing success story then spread the word. Always help people whenever you can because good things will come from your selflessness…things that you won’t expect! Put your photo everywhere, do LOTS of videos with your face, comment on others blogs, use your full name wherever you go. This step alone will get you further than anything else. You can have just a little bit of traffic but if your name is floating around the net then those that DO visit you with THINK you are big…they don’t know how much traffic or leads you get…they just think that you must be doing something right because you are everywhere.

Relationship building & Prospecting – Make sure you are spending a portion of your day making new friends and building relationships. My favorite place to do this is Facebook. I send everyone that adds me as a friend a thank you video email (which offers them free training and they then become a LEAD) and start to chat with them through their inbox or Facebook chat. This is not a time to pitch your business, but a time to build relationships and see how you can BOTH help each other. You also need to try and connect with EVERY lead you get, whether it’s by phone or online. Share their fan page with your friends and have them return the favor, syndicate (fancy word for SHARE) their posts on Twitter, Digg etc. Post encouraging comments when they do videos or posts. Network marketing is a relationship of building people UP. The better every one does in network marketing the more people will want to join the industry.

Next, utilize the tools that are available to do tasks on a LARGE scale. Things like Traffic Geyser and Automatic Article Submitter can submit your videos and articles to hundreds of sites every day. Tools like Tweet Adder can add hundreds of friends to your Twitter account while you SLEEP (and those people will follow you back). Don’t be afraid to purchase tools to get the job DONE, but do your research first. Nothing is going to give you overnight success, but tools that you use on a daily basis that do more than you could do in 3 DAYS manually are worth it IF you actually use them daily.

Finally, and this is one I still find it hard to stick to, DON’T get distracted by anything new until you have completed your daily traffic/lead generating tasks. Save your relationship building for last or you’ll sucked into conversations all day and get nothing done. Keep a notepad next to your computer and any time you are about to get distracted by a new tool, tip or idea write it down, bookmark it and come back to it ONLY when you’ve finished your daily tasks.
