These blog sites are free and the only cost to you will be your domain registration fee. I personally recommend wordpress.org with your own personal domain name. With wordpress.com it’s like dinning out at a restaurant and choosing what they have on offer. With Wordpress.org it’s like dinning in at home, you can choose what you want and have it the way you like it done.

Secret #2  Writing articles on specific topics can be shared through article directories. There are hundreds of Article Directories on the internet where you can share your work. A couple of my favourites are Ezinearticles.com, Goarticles.com and Amazines.com.  By submitting articles and sharing them with others via your blog and article directories mutual respect will grow not only from your peers but also from their followers. It certainly pays to surround yourself with experienced people in your industry when you are sharing this type of knowledge with each other. Using this method of lead generation, you can find yourself on the first page of Google in no time at all. However, you must be consistent with your article writing and submitting.

Secret #3 Participating in online communities and business sites such as Betternetworker.com, Plaxo.com, Linkedin.com just to name a few. Everyone on these sites is there to grow their business and this is the perfect way to build your business to greater heights. By joining the top communities you will not only be spreading yourself over a wider section of the internet you will also be sharing your content on these sites where other networkers and professionals  will also share your content if they find it of some value to them and their followers via Twitter, Facebook and other social networking sites. This is completely free advertising for your business and one of the fastest ways to promote your business online.
