By now, if you have been using articles to promote your network marketing blog, you should be seeing an increased amount of traffic to your website. The trick is to continually submit at least one article a day for the first month after you start your blog. After this, it will be sufficient to submit one or two articles a week to continue to draw traffic to your blog.

We will continue to discuss making your resource box at the end of your articles as more effective through the use of anchor text in your links. A typical resource box may look something like this:

To make your resource box work even better you would replace the link to your website in the example (http://www.myblog.com) with anchor text (i.e. the different keywords you are targeting). So, let’s say that you want to target the keyword ‘network marketing’ so that your blog ranks better in the search engines. Your new resource box would now look like:

Notice how ‘network marketing’ is now a hyperlink pointing back to your website. As your article gets picked up by more and more website owners, that is more and more websites that point back to your blog and target the keyword ‘network marketing’. These are all one way links that you do not have to reciprocate, which helps your network marketing blog rank higher in the search engines.

Ideally, you should choose keywords that get a good number of searches, but do not have much competition in the search engines. Then once your site is firmly established near the top of the search engine for these terms, you can begin to target keywords and key phrases with more competition. You will be surprised how quickly you get results using this method.
