Network Marketing Success does not happen overnight

Don’t believe the hype! This was a famous song from the famous controversial group public enemy in the 90’s even if you feel some kind of way about the group, the message don’t believe the hype holds so true in the network marketing industry.

If you have been marketing online for awhile or you are just starting out, I know you have seen many ads, banners, and even capture pages that promise you will make a certain amount of money in your business if you only follow these simple rules. Some goes on to say that you can achieve a certain amount of success in hours which really makes me sick to my stomach.

See, what people know when they are advertising to you is that you want to be successful in your business and that you want to make a lot of money. They say what you want to hear in order to get you to buy their course or e-book only to find out that it is filled with more fluff that convinces you to buy something else. Now, I am not saying that everyone does that. There are some true marketers out there who have really created success for themselves and they are only giving you the results that they generated and showing you how to do the same. But, there are many out there who are really trying to make a sale.

So why do they do it?

 They are attracting people who have the lottery mentality. They are looking for those who think that their business is going to change in a couple of hours or over night where it clearly does not work that way. Being in the network marketing industry and working with a company is just like working any other business you have to work at it. It takes time to build and a lot of effort. The people that you see that get experience network marketing success so quickly are those who have done it before and now they are doing it again either online or within their business opportunity.

So how can you tell the difference?

People who are usually legit offer you value, they give you something that you can see to prove their case as to why they can make the claim that they are making. They either give you some inside access to see for yourself or show some kind of proof. So, if you come across a website that is making claims and they can’t back it up, you might want to take another look. Remember, the way to the top in any network marketing company is to master a skill and have a clear system as a roadmap to get you there.
