Networkers Beware of Jeff Craig and Sterling Business Group!
Yes, Mr. Jeff (Geoff) Craig called one of my prospects last night. He told the prospect whom I've been working with for some time, "You won't need to be working with Paul (me) anymore. He can only take you so far, and we'll take you on to success from here!
He then assigns you to work with another rep, in this case a Mr. Roy Alexander. He said my prospect should call him asap, as Paul's role in his education was about as far as it can go.
Now that I've looked at the Sterling Business Group, I can see that it's a pay for coaching and mentoring scam and has deplorable business ethics and zero professionalism.
They will lie to you and tell you anything to get you to their company. You can get all the training on internet marketing you want and need for free, and can save your $6,000 bucks for better things!
Needless to say, my prospect was intelligent enough to smell the rotten eggs here, and though confused for a moment, did not fall for the boiler room sales pitch.
Meanwhile Sterling Business Group digs a deeper hole with every lie they tell, as the scamming nature of this company is revealed.
Spread the word to your prospects, they'll need high rubber boots for this one!

Thanks for the info
Hey Paul, thanks for the info, man there is a lot of scammers out there.
Will pass the word,
Have a nice one!
Jack
Thanks for the heads up, Paul!
As a legitimate business and marketing coach, who does charge for services, I resent what this man and his company are doing. I would not ever, upon learning that someone has been working with a prospect do what this man did. I might ask how things are going, but that's about it.
I am building my site now, and it's full of information that people can have for free. There are also low-cost options as well as the higher priced products and services I offer. But, the information I give away is enough to get the do-it-yourselfer going and keep them going for a long time on high quality information. I hope, Paul, that you will visit when I announce the launch, and see for yourself.
Thank you for exposing Mr. Jeff Craig and Sterling Business Group here on BN. The more these guys (and gals) are caught doing what's not right and exposed, the less their shadow hangs over those of us doing it right!
RIDING THE COATAILS OF STERLING
We are going to do our research on Sterling Business Group because the company themselves encourage us to do so.
*THEN THESE PEOPLE POST ON BLOGS SAYING NEGATIVE THINGS ABOUT STERLING AND THEN GIVE LINKS TO "THEIR OWN BUSINESS"...subtly suggesting that we should WORK WITH THEM INSTEAD! I'm supposed to trust you just because you say something negative about a company that's been in business that long with only 2 BBB complaints.
NOW THAT IS A SCAM! And, seems more like riding on Sterling's coattails than anything else rather than doing your own advertising! I see this same tactic all over the place when researching this company.
PROOF - I mean, the 1st poster has a SALES LETTER linked to the post (where it says "for free"). Come on.....are you kidding me? Are people really falling for this?
Is this a joke?
I googled the name you gave for the company and I found their blog on the first page of a google search.

So is that what you mean by free content being given away on the web? They aren't even trying to pitch anything. You're being kind of ridiculous because someone tried to sell your prospect. But then again, aren't you trying to sell him a business too?
Anyways man, maybe just cool out a little before you go calling people unprofessional and liars. Those are strong words, not to be used lightly. Think before you fly off the handle next time.

Thanks Paul!
Paul thank you so much for this info.
I'm glad you posted this.

Come on now!!!
I have used Sterling business group and have worked with both Roy and Jeff. What proof do you have that this is a scam??? It has helped me create an extra $3000 per month with their program. Nothing is free...It takes money to make money and any smart "BUSINESS OWNER" would know that. So obviously some of you are truly not ready to own a business. Stop putting companies down unless you really have proof alright!
Asheley Thomas
I am a former employee for sterling biz group
To anyone who has been thinking about joining sterling DO NOT DO IT. I worked for this company and I knew Jeff Craig (which is not even his real name). I held the same position as Jeff. Once I found out that the clients that we were saleing were not getting what we promised them I left the company. There were alot of other factors that were involved in me leaving as well but it all really boiled down to the fact that I could not sleep at night knowing that I was taking money from people for a service that our company supposedlly provided for them but in the long run the clients we sold were truely getting scammed. In response to Steve's comment, Yes there are a very very small percentage of people that actually do make money with there buisnesses but I doubt the success is actually from the 6k that you gave to sterling. Also, the reason why they asked you about your credit card info was to know how much money you had available on your card so they know how much money they can get out of you. If you would have told them that you had 20k that you were willing to invest they would have sold you the same thing that you paid 6k for. One more thing, I bet you didn't know that Jeff Craig or whoever it was that sold you, pocketed 20% of your investment. Actually only about 25% of your total investment went to the coaching compsny thst you worked with. You got scammed big time, you just may not know it yet. If anyone has any questions about the sterling business group please feel free to contact me here or a sever30051@hotmail.com. I hope buy me posting this it will save alot of people alot of money.
Joseph Sever
The real Joseph Sever III, former Sterling employee
My name is Joseph Sever. I am writing this in response to the last comment that was posted by someone claiming to be me. The first thing that I would like to address is the false claims against the Sterling Business Group. The Sterling business group is one of the best if not the best company for helping people succeed online. During my time working at Sterling I helped hundreds if not thousands of people generate a substantial income with thier home based businesses. I know this because of the hundreds of phone calls that I recieved from clients that I worked with, thanking me for helping them to make the decision to work with Sterling.
Next I would like to address the false claims against Mr Jeff Craig. Mr Craig not only helps thousands of people become successful online, but he has been a huge influence on me in my life. Mr Craig spent countless hours with me helping me learn this business and also helped me build my own online business which now in my main source of income. Plain and simply put, The Sterling Business Group and Mr Craig have helped me become the person that I am. This is the reason that I am extremely upset buy the false claims that have been posted in my name.
To whomever it was that decided to use my name to bash the Sterling Business Group. I have contacted my attorney and we are figuring out what legal action we can take with this matter. I would highly suggest to whomever it was that posted these false claims to contact me so that we can possibly resolve this issue between ourselves. I have a very good idea of who you are and I will be contacting the company that you work for unless you contact me first.
I would like to explain to the people that may be reading this the reason why someone would post false accusations against Sterling. No doubt this was a ploy by one of Sterling's competing company's to try to destroy Sterling's reputation. It is a sad and pathetic attempt, but as many of you know some people will go to any length to hurt thier competitors.
To anyone thinking about working with Sterling, Please think about this. To succeed online you need to be a hard worker, have the time to devote to your business, and also you have to have knowledge. This is what Sterling provides you with. The knowledge and expertise to be successful. Sterling goes to great lengths to insure the people that they work with are hard workers and have the time to devote to their business. Unfortunately some people do slip through the cracks that only want something for nothing. These people expect Sterling to do everything for them. This is the reason that you will have some people complaining that Sterling did not help them. Sterling can not make someone do the work. However if you are a person that is serios about making money online, and you are a person that is willing to put the hard work into it, then with the help of Sterling there will be nothing holding you back, and you will be successful.
Sincerely,
The Real, Joseph Sever III

Jeff Craig, sterling business group scam
Jeff Craig is a scammer, liar and a thief. He outlines what you will receive in the training program and then what you actually get is nothing that he has discribed. They ask what you want to invest!! yes thats right. It doesnt seem to matter what figure you set! they give you as little as possible. He tells you that they will build you a web site (THEY)which is not the case, they are just templates. Set up VIABLE ppc campaign (if $15.00 a click for a $7.00 sale is viable then I stand corrected. Dont forget that 3 day period to cancel. Shame you cant get through to them during this period!!He even said he had a team of researchers looking for products for us to advertize! guess what when I asked for this research he said he knew nothing about it and by then the cancellation period had expired. As to whether or not focus learning is any good, It seems that you could possibly make it work. My problem is that Jeff Craig decieves people, some of which like myself are prepared to work hard and expect a return on there investment. Jeff Craig advised us that he guaranteed that we would have a full return on our investment by week. At present I cant say if Focus is good or bad or what connection Craig and focus learning have together (focus learnig is the provider that Craig placed us with). All I can say is that Jeff Craig does not tell you the truth, not even close to the truth. You are also told you can change training providers at any time if your not happy; another lie. I have requested calls from managers, directors etc. They never phone back. Phone jeff Craig and guess what hes busy right now but will call you as soon as he reaches the office he doesnt! Please beware!!
