Oh Crap. I Screwed Up.
For most people screwing up and getting things wrong is seen as something that should be avoided no matter what. It does not matter if that is in life doing everyday things or in business just trying to make a success of yourself. Are you the kind of person who thinks this way? Are you the kind of person who makes simple things complicated by thinking too hard and trying to find the 'perfect' way of doing things? If so, then you are screwing yourself and you will suffer in the long run.
The reason I say that is because their really is no 'perfect' way to do things. Not right at the start anyway because when you something new, you are a complete beginner and your knowledge on that thing will be next to nothing. Do not worry though because that is alright. Everybody starts at the same level and that is right at the bottom. So for example seeing as this blog strongly relates to business and Internet/affiliate/network marketing, I will give you a great example when it comes to either one or all of those things.
Let's just say you are new to the whole idea of marketing online. Even if you aren't new, just imagine you are or even better think back to when you were a total beginner. Thinking about it? Good. Now ask yourself could you start getting results and making money based on the knowledge you had? Ask yourself could you have been able to join a business and then grow your business in a matter of just 2 or 3 days? Ask yourself how many like minded people had you met and built relationships with while you were still right at the bottom? Or more importantly ask yourself 'how many mistakes did I make along the way before I got to where I am now?'
You see if you truly want to start getting results and making some money no matter how much it is, their is no shortcut or magical path that will lead you to it. Robert Kiyosaki once said that "if you learn something new, you are then required to make mistakes in order to fully understand what you have learned" and this is a perfect example of what you must do in the online marketing arena. It requires knowledge for you to succeed and to acquire knowledge, you need to learn. So when it comes to marketing online in order to know what you are doing you have to screw up and make mistakes. It is a part of the process to success.
Thousands of people fail to realise that and they aim NOT to make mistakes when they should be. You will not get results using the Internet if you don't put your applied knowledge to good use and screw up along the way. It is the mistakes that will show you where you went wrong and what you need to do the next time round. So it is okay to screw up and make a bunch of mistakes. Don't panic or get worked up over it because at the end of the day, if you are not learning and you are not making mistakes, then what are you doing?
