The Google Slap and How to Survive and Rise Above it in 2010!
I have had so many associates calling me recently to inform me that they have been either slapped, suspended or disabled by Google. Others, who have been fortunate enough to survive, complain of a rise in their lead costs.
As determined and savvy marketers, we have had to come to the harsh reality that perhaps it is not wise to put ALL our eggs in one “Google” basket!
The successful network marketers of the future are going to be a truly innovative and resilient bunch.
For many, the last six months have been a true endurance test, as many of us have been hit with unexpected twists and turns in our pay per click campaigns (and our bottom lines).
As you already know, the Google marketer has proven their true grit and determination just by the virtue of the fact that they committed to the minimum twelve week learning curve to master their campaign build outs and optimizing and tweaking their campaigns in order to establish a niche market and to enjoy profitability in their business.
With the advent of the new Google/FTC policies this summer, a new breed of marketer is emerging.
This race is not for the faint of heart.
As a result of the change of events, a number of courses that seek to offer solutions have emerged.
Cherie Yvette, the esteemed Urban Cowgirl as she is affectionately and professionally known, has changed the format of her course in recent months from that of Google optimization strategies, to those of a joint SEO/PPC method and how to create a unique and custom “authority” website that will survive the slaps and gain higher quality scores in Google.
Others offer courses that state that they can get you back in Google after a suspension and how to maintain your position thereafter.
During a recent Perry Marshall Mastermind session, after hearing the dilemma of one of his larger clients, as he explained the story of his Google suspension, and Google’s remote attitude thereafter…a course was offered that teaches alternate methods of driving sustainable, volume traffic to your website. (One that does NOT include Google).
After a mastermind session that I had yesterday with one of my respected colleagues, I have come to the realization that a core of “true grit, outside of the box” marketers are going to emerge form this “crisis”.
The Chinese written character for opportunity is the same as that for crisis!
Truly successful men and women have found opportunity in the midst of crisis. Will you?
Connecting with the right mentor and training has become more crucial than ever in today’s ever changing internet market.
