Question - "Does Your Biz Have An 'Oil Well' In It?"

So let me get right to what I mean by YOU having an "oil well" in your business. Sounds odd, I know...

We all know that real oil wells create real BIG wealth... but only after oil is struck. Then the floodgates open, as they say.

Well, the oil well I'm referring to you having in your business, is your lead capture web page, the entry point into your business, the gateway to your product or service, the front door to it ALL. Once you have this securely in place, you literally own a real asset that can gush cash for you 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. So few get this.

But there's just one problem....

Less than 2% of our industry has any clue how to use one or any idea how to build a list of prospects (potential customers) - the ONLY asset in business that matters. Everything else follows. Most just throw up a web site with no real strategy... and then wait for traffic and leads to rain down on them. As if just by buying a URL and putting up a lead capture web page up, suddenly, they are entitled to lead flow.

Wrong. Dead wrong. And stinkin' thinkin (as Zig Ziglar would say).

There's a whole set of rules and psychology that must be in place and understood to generate leads online today from your lead capture web page. And now, the rules have changed quite bit just since the beginning of 2012, in fact. What worked months ago, doesn't today. What works now, may not by October. This is the NEW online lead generation game we're in.

Only the fast-to-adapt and the fast-to-implement survive today (hint: they're also usually the big thinkers) Sadly, most can't keep up and are falling further and further behind, at a rate I've not ever seen, actually. Frightening times ahead for many.
