Quick Start Attraction Marketing Strategies
You’re MLM online attraction marketing efforts may not generate a sufficient amount of leads immediately. Say you have your lead capture page setup, submitted a few articles, you are active in a few forums, and maybe you have a lead or two generated your first or second week. While getting your first few leads can be exciting, you will require much more to sustain your business. What now?
Here are some strategies that you can get you off to a fast start.
Drop card marketing. Drop cards are basically plain business cards typically without any graphics. If you want to have a little fun, you can get cards that look like folded hundred dollar bills. The cards contain a sizzle message with a call to action. Example – “Sick of living paycheck to paycheck! Earn $2,000 to $5,000 part time without having to quit your job! – Call now to listen to what these people have done.” This has been one of the best messages I’ve used.
The drop cards are then “dropped” or placed all around town. A couple of my favorite places to put them are gas pumps and restrooms. I’m not sure why, but these spots seem to get the most responses for my area. Some other places to put them are waiting rooms, shopping malls, bus stops and benches. Just use your imagination.
I have always used a “sizzle line” to qualify drop card prospects. Here, they listen to a voice mail message that’s about two minutes long that “sizzles” the benefits of an MLM or home business and includes a few testimonials. If you have the technical ability, you could design an online capture page instead or pay someone to create one for you.
If you plan to use this as a long term strategy then it would be best to test and track your messages as well as test and track the sizzle line verses the capture pages. Either way the system can send you an email or text once you have a qualified lead.
Drop cards typically generate for me about 10 to 12 qualified local leads per week from a distribution of about 50 cards per day. Distribute these cards while you’re out and about. This is a great way to build locally and have prospects showing up to local events.
Another strategy is to use ads in Craigslist as momentum builders. These ads can be used to build locally as well as in other cities. A secret technique is to coordinate the ads with you company’s major events. Let’s say your company is holding a regional event in Orlando, Florida. Build momentum leading up to the event by placing ads in and around the Orlando area. The synergy of a local team and the excitement of a major event will help explode your business.
Craigslist ads can generate upwards of 30 leads a day. For these prospects you can setup a Google voice or inexpensive voicemail account that simply states, “Thank you for responding to the ad, please leave your name and number and we will contact you shortly.” Simple as that.
These days if you’re serious about building your MLM business then you need to call all of your leads. You will need to talk to 20 to 30 people a day to eventually sponsor one to two people a week into your business on average. The strategies here will put you well on your way to getting leads to help you build your business.
