Recession: Network Marketers Best Friend or Worst Night Mare?

Are you pumped because you know that right now there are more people than ever hopping online to look for an in home business because people all over the place are flat out broke?

I sure as heck hope not.

If you are looking for the bum off of the street to join your network marketing business you could end up joining him sooner than you think. (probably not, but you never know!)

This is a HUGE mistake that you see network marketers make.

Most network marketers go after the people that they think “need” the money, and not the people that are actually going to make money.

If a person is flat out broke, and does not have the faintest idea about what it takes to me successful in network marketing or anything for that matter, how well do you think they are going to do..?

You guessed it.

Well then why in the heck do 80% of network marketers go after them!?

Now yeah, there are a whole lot of people that came from nothing, and turned it into a whole lot of something, but you should not be looking for the bum off of the street that is actually looking for a J-O-B.

Usually the person that you are most scared to talk to because you think “oh they already have enough money, they wouldn’t be interested”, will be the best recruit that you have ever had.

Remember, just because a person makes a lot of money does not mean that he is happy.

There is a price that that doctor is paying, that that lawyer is paying, that that accountant is paying.

They are working 60+ hours a week. They don’t have time for their family. They don’t get to do the things that they really want to do.

If a person is successful at one thing, they can be successful at another. They already know what it takes to succeed.

All you have to do is provide them with the opportunity, and let them take off.

My point is this:

Define your target market.

Don’t define your market as the people that “just might” join your business, if you begged long enough,

Define your market as the people that are going to make money, and most importantly make you money :).

If a bum wants to join your business, you don’t have to turn him down, but don’t go out looking for him.
