REVIEWED: Five Useful Websites to Use to Brand Yourself and Advertise Your Biz

Branding irons from the 1910s.

Branding Doesn’t Need to Hurt Your Budget!

Quality branding doesn’t require an ad campaign costing thousands of dollars— it can actually be done effectively for free.

Here are three websites that I use to brand my image, promote my blogs and feeds, and set myself apart in the industry… and all are completely free to join and use. Despite the cons that I detail, these are three that I wholeheartedly recommend.

Flavors.me: I use flavors.me as my professional landing page. It is simply the most professional and customizable option out there, and a favorite for visual artists, musicians, and celebrities. You would use this site to showcase yourself or company as opposed to individual business opportunities. My Flavors.Me Page

PROS: Clean, visual, super professional, many options for integrating feeds from various social networks, customizable.

CONS: Contact Box but no way to integrate lead capture, lack of flexibility in adding social network feeds beyond those offered, somewhat janky editor.

IM Faceplate: Brand new and catered to Internet Marketers, IM Faceplate allows marketers to create attractive branding pages. Syndicate your blog articles and easily showcase your business as well as self with this promising new system. My IM Faceplate

PROS: Easy to useIdeal showcase for both you and your business opportunities, ability to add multiple feeds, viral, targeted community of Internet Marketers

CONS: Lack of customization for layout of feeds, controlled and duplicated look and feel.

Breezy Buzz: This new website is growing fast and is a cool way to promote and brand. The format has a heavy ‘Facebook-esque’ look and feel, with an emphasis on easy promotion. You can easily share links and advertise multiple opportunities. There is also a point reward system where you can earn points in exchange for sitewide advertising. Join me on BreezyBuzz

PROS: Easily showcase yourself and businesses, targeted community of advertisers, fun and easy to use interface, beautiful branded splash page

CONS: Lack of quality content and communication, somewhat confusing navigation.

Sweeva: This traffic generation system will get you traffic, branding, and instant website feedback. While effective at traffic generation, beware of mean people and a low conversion rate. My stats on Sweeva

PROS: Instant website feedback, cool rewards system, lots of ways to earn for free, exciting community.

CONS: Haters, know it alls, some bad sites, too many judges and not enough sign-ups.
