Google includes real-time data – Are you ready?

Is this this biggest search engine change ever?
Google has just announced that it has started to include real-time data in its search results, although it will take a few days to roll out across the world but as you might expect, Google are the first to do this.
What does this mean for you and me?
Well, it means that your search engine optimisation is not the only thing you can concentrate on any more. No longer should you just look at your keyword density, page content and backlinks – something much bigger is starting to happen and this is just the tip of the iceberg!
The key metric being looked at here is relevance - and of course, how it is delivered! But where will the feeds come from?
Well, Twitter is in there straight away, along with MySpace and Facebook. So, if you don’t have accounts live yet, now is the time to get them registered and get your nicknames before others do.
It is reported that the feature could also be available on the iPhone, other smart phones and those running the Android OS.
In truth, this is probably one of the biggest landmarks in how data is gathered from the billions of web pages around the world and you should be ready for it!
