Rank On Google 1st Page Instantly!
To be a successful network marketing entrepreneur you MUST market and brand yourself because people join people they know, like and trust.
Google came out with this cool little feature recently, called "Google Profile".
You can now create a public profile with Google, list all relevant websites you want to share with people, and once submitted you'll instantly rank at the bottom of the 1st page of Google for your name.
A Google Profile can help you gain valuable online exposure, which is obviously very important for you and your business. It’s a very simple process and here are the steps and a few recommended tips.
First you'll need a Gmail account before you can create your Google profile. Go to http://www.google.com/ and on the top menus click on Gmail to setup your email account. I recommend you use your name in your email address and as your username because it can be used in your Google Profile URL (if you want to use it), as in google.com/profiles/firstname_lastname.
Incidently you should employ this same SEO strategy with all your profiles on the internet: betternetworker, facebook etc. Use the following form: (firstname_lastname). This SEO technique is also more search engine-friendly and when anyone searches for your name the search engines can easily find your links.
Now you can create your profile at: http://www.google.com/profiles
Enter your details: first name, last name, where you grew up, where you live now, what you do and be sure to place a check mark in the box [Display my full name so I can be found in search]. Also enter any Maiden name in the {Other names} field because that name can also rank on search engines for that specific keyword.
Next upload a nice picture of yourself. It does not have to be the exact size because there is a easy to use crop feature. Click on [Change photo].
Include a short bio of yourself so people can learn more about you. You don’t need to tell everything about yourself. Keep it brief! Your personal blog or website is the place for your full bio. Be sure to include a little humor and personality because people like people they can relate to. If your bio sounds to stuffy it can be a turn off.
Also be sure to include your keywords and long-tail keyword phrases in your biography and link not only to your blog and business sites, but also your primary social networking sites. This will maximize your impact and organic search results. Google loves Google – right?
Most importantly, add links to your business site and blog as well as your Twitter, Facebook, and any other social network profiles. Oh another thing is you can use a anchor text above your links to help each site rank on search engines for a specific keyword. For example on many of my social links I simply use my name as the anchor text so that this anchor text will give backlinking SEO juice to my websites for the keyword: james martinez. Now when anyone Google's my name they can find me on Facebook, Twitter and other web sites.
I'm sure you're curious so I'll give you permission to Google my name james martinez right now. Go head try it, common don't be shy. I even made it simple this link will take to right to the search result for my name without you having to waste any precious finger energy james martinez
For your photo album simply enter your username for Flickr.com, Picasa.com or other photo service and Google will do the rest. No need to upload hundreds of pictures to yet another website. This is easy peasy!
Once you’ve entered all your details, click [Create a Google profile]. You can also edit your profile at anytime just be sure to click [Save changes] at the very, very bottom.
One last thing, don't make the same mistake I did, so make sure to follow Google's policies about no income claims, wealth creation etc. or they will take your profile down pending revision and review. That's what happened to me
but I'm back after they review my new revised profile.
References to any of the following could trigger Google to remove your profile for non-compliance with their policies and guidelines...
- "Make money"
- "Work from home"
- "Replaced income"
- "Opportunity"
- "Investment"
- Anything reflective of economy or recession
- Some other guidelines: No income claims, nothing about opportunities or jobs or this can replace your job or replace your income. No reference to money or making money. Nothing about easy or guaranteed. No recruiting of others or pyramids. No vague lifestyle promotions. Nothing to do with income opportunities.
