TribePro – What They Didn’t Tell You!
OK, so you’ve heard about Tribepro and its awesome ability to share your content instantly across the web creating hundreds, if not thousands of backlinks and shares automatically, literally at the push of a button. Sounds amazing, doesn’t it? I know I was impressed when I first heard about Tribepro.
What is Tribepro? You ask. Tribepro is a content syndication platform. Some of you may be asking, “What the heck does that mean? “ Simply put, Tribepro is a community of bloggers, social networkers and online marketers who share each other’s content via social media outlets such as Digg, Twitter, Facebook, etc.
Tribepro effectively helps its members create social buzz, as well as thousands of backlinks to websites, blogs, articles and many different forms of content. This allows for more exposure of your content to members or users of those social media sites where your URL is shared to, which results in increased traffic.
The really cool effect of using Tribepro is that Google has recently begun to consider in its algorithm how often content is being shared among social networks. Google sees content being shared more often as higher in its authority and may rank it higher. This helps your content have a better chance at getting seen on the first page of a Google search.
Tribepro has three levels of membership; free, plus, and pro. While the free membership allows you access to content syndication, you can only share manually at this level. This limits the amount of content you syndicate to the amount of time you have to manually submit each url.
Where the magic begins to happen is at the Plus membership level. At this level you can set your account to automatically send your content url to the Tribepro network as soon as you publish it, whether it’s an article on your blog or a video on YouTube. This is done via rss feeds. You can literally have hundreds of shares within a few minutes of publishing your content.
Tribepro members must use an Onlywire.com account to facilitate the shares to the social media outlets. Tribepro brings the members together and sets forth rules of sharing which the system keeps track of and enforces for you.
While I have a Plus account and love the Tribepro platform, there are a few things to look out for, one of them being overages to your Onlywire.com account. While you won’t have to worry about overages with the free account, an entry level pro account starts at 1,000 submissions and overages are billed at 5 cents per submission thereafter. Also there is no ability to pause the account once your limit of 1,000 submissions is reached.
Tribepro members can choose who they auto syndicate content with. The more member’s content you share, the more your content gets shared through their networks. So let’s say you are sharing with 10 people to 10 social media sites and you all submit and share one article a day. That would equal to 110 submissions to your Onlywire account per day. 10 people x 10 social media sites shared to equal 100 + your article submitted to your own Onlywire account comes to a total of 110 submissions. Now I think you can imagine how things can get out of hand pretty fast in that situation, especially when you understand that you can use Onlywire to share up to 42 social media sites.
The way to try and avoid these problems are to track the submissions from your Tribepro account to your onlywire account to keep it within your account submission limits and upgrade to a larger onlywire account if necessary. Don’t start too big or share with more Tribepro members than your onlywire account can handle.
Also make sure you periodically review the content of the Tribepro member whose content you are sharing on your networks to avoid sending crappy content or worse yet, landing pages to your social network account. You want to be providing value to your followers and friends on your social networks. It would be unfortunate to lose followers, social network friends due to a Tribepro member spamming offer after offer and never providing content of any value.
