Six Months
Have you ever started a job or gone into a new profession without being trained? Did you go down to your local discount store and order a kit to be a lawyer, a doctor, or an engineer? Of course not - to enter those professions, you need specialized knowledge.
What about when you started a job? Did you just walk in off the street and tell them you knew all there was to know about the job and no training would be necessary? I don't think so. According to most Fortune 500 companies, it takes 6 months of being on the job before the company starts to make any money from an employee. Did you read that closely, 6 months?
Now why is it that people who join a program to earn extra income from home give up in less than 90 days? Could they be missing an important point in life? If just learning a job takes around 6 months to be good at it, then maybe you can start to see why things haven't worked out for you in the past. In fact, Roxanne Green learned this from Success In Ten Steps. To read her story, go to:

People make it difficult that's why
That's one of the big reasons networking marketing works for anyone of any skill set - anyone can make money without the 6 months learning curve as in a traditional place of business. We do it all the time - everyone of us - now we can just make money at it. Why would that take an extensive training course of 6 months to do what we've always done? It shouldn't. People just "make" it hard.

JOYCE WHERE IS YOUR MINDSET.
Joyce, Did it ever occur to you that most people from all walks of the world can do network marketing, but are they successfull? It takes skill, I would rather be a successful skilled network marketer with a definite PURPOSE, than someone just making money because they can. Good luck in your networkmarketing
PAUL I LOVE THIS ARTICLE, SO TRUE, SO VERY, VERY TRUE
Well Written Article. Alot of knowledge and I agree with you 100%
Different Strokes for Different Folks
No matter if someone chooses to work from home or outside the home, I believe each of us approaches a career with a unique skills set, knowledge base, and frame of mind. The road to mastery will naturally be bumpier and longer for someone who's starting from scratch with no tools and no previous training. Personally speaking, my current employer made money from my efforts the first day on the job. :-)

Your sentence confused me: "Joyce, Did it ever occur to you that most people from all walks of the world can do network marketing, but are they successfull?"
If most people CAN DO network marketing than YES they CAN BE successful. Isn't that what the point of this is?
Not sure where you are coming from with your comment. Correct me if I'm wrong but are you assuming that someone who makes money in their business on the first day and continues to do that day after day is not a skilled network marketer?? Are you assuming that as their paycheque/team grows they won't naturally grow into a leadership role? Are you assuming you have to be a leader before you can make money?
I have a woman on my team (already making money) who doesn't have the natural personality or skills to be a leader but she has a large network of people she knows. As her team grows she is growing into the leader she needs to be. Nothing wrong with that, in my opinion.
She's simply doing what we're all supposed to be doing - networking with people. She helps them. They help her paycheque grow and she grows professionally and personally at the pace her team grows.
Wonderful to watch!

Joyce Penner
