The economy may stink now, but this could be the perfect time to start your own home business. CNN’s Josh Levs, went to an economics convention, and had the opportunity to get advice from the economists.
In this video, which aired on CNN, Charlotte Phelps, an economist from Temple University, told Josh if you do it right, on your own, you will be a leader of the future economy.
Her research, based on economic history, shows that the entrepreneurs are at the vanguard of socio-economic change. They are the leaders of the economy.
She also says, that it’s the network of friends, and social interactions, that will point you to opportunities in a niche, where you can create an idea which will pay off.
She suggests, that once you get an idea, that you talk to your friends, and everyone you know about it, and don’t keep it to yourself.
She says, if you harness the technology, and talk to people about it, you can feel really good at the beginning of 2010… that it’s time to pursue that dream, and it might be the best thing you’ve ever done for yourself.
Sounds like social media marketing, and internet marketing is becoming mainstream, and the intelligent choice for the new economy. All I can say is “It’s about time!”

Sometimes that is what it takes to move people out of there comfort zone.They will do things that they did not know they could do.They start a business for the first time .Then they rise out of there broken mentality and change there whole family tree to a new mindset of building true wealth.

Times - They Are A' Changin'
Adrian, I love this article and could not agree more. I feel sorry for the corporate and day job "hang-ons" who think the economy will turn around and it'll all be peachy again. They're just sure that any minute things will get all better and they'll be back to the days of high salaries, job security and life-long pensions. I honestly believe that the big earners of the future (and those with stable incomes) are the ones who own their own businesses. And I'm not talking brick & mortar. . .

Network marketing has been around for years. Where else can a regular person like me start their our home business build it right and live in the now, in the moment. I have learned that a regular 9 to 5 won't always be there for you. In network marketing you reap what you sow. If you put effort into it you get great rewards but sit back like some you come up empty handed. Some of us may have to go back to our 9 to 5 as long as we have to and will continue building our business, be our own boss. Too our future.
