Better Networker, The Importance Of...

I was listening to a really Interesting Call This Morning on The Subject of Focus.

That set me Thinking, About How Important, Not Only Focus is, But Connecting With and Maintaining The Relationships That we All Start Building, in the Hope that We Can be Of Mutual Benefit to Each Other. Sadly it is Something that Very Rarely Happens, in Virtual World & Reminded me of a Conversation I had With a Fellow Business Owner, on Another Network, I happen to use, every other day.

We had connected, Through Attraction Marketing Techniques, and she remarked that, Of all the people She had connected with, None had made any Effort to Keep In Touch with her, not even down to a Simple Email Asking How She was or Even Trying to Build any Type Of Relationship Up.

Which is why, When You are Part of a Network, it is important that You stay In Touch With Your Connections & Also How You Do That. For Instance, Don't Spam all of Your Connections, because A) They won't appreciate it and B) You'll Likely as Not, drive them away. Providingn Value is How True Connections are Made & Kept. For Example, I use Another Well Know Business Network Site, as much as I use Better Networker & Always Advise My Connections there of Social Media Updates, Ask How They Are & Find Out How Their Week is Going.

In Other Words, You take an Interest in Them & Do it on a Consistent Basis, because When They see You are On The Site on a Regular Basis, Providing Information That helps them, They are far more likely to come to you for Help, Advice & Hey... May Be Even Buy One of Your Products.

The Consistent Basis, needs to Be Done over a period of Time, EG Week in Week Out, for Months, as Opposed To Those who, Try Connecting, Then 'Sell' Then When that Fails, rapidly Move on to another Network, Doing The same Thing 'Failing Forward'

So, In Order to Be More Successful, Remember, Stay Connected, Keep in Touch, be Interested in Them, Not Interesting & Your client base Will Expand!
