Do you want to connect with people online ... or Vomit Your Business All Over them?

There is one thing that annoys me, drives me crazy!   As I am learning to connect and market my Business online, I am noticing more and more BAD examples of people who don't know how to do it.  Who are, as my friend Freddy Rodriguez writes "vomit their business all over someone."

You know how it is.   You are on Facebook, get a new message and it is someone sending you a link telling you that you HAVE to look at their new business.    No subtle approaches, no questions if you may be interested, but BAM!   Here's the link.

n fact, it is getting so annoying it is like the calls you get from people selling you double glazing or solar panels and won't take 'no' for an answer.

To be honest, I don't blame them.   You see it's what they are told to do by an ill informed upline.   They are doing it because they think it is the only way.   But I can tell you there is another way ....

To be honest, I take it as a compliment.   What I am doing is being noticed.  People are wanting to connect with me.

So I turn it round.   Ask them how they are doing.   Tell them there is another way.

Two things happened this week that encouraged me to write this post.

1.   A Bad Example.

Among the many similar messages I received this week, one person would not accept I was not interested.   I told him several times, wishes him luck and he kept going.   Finished by asking me to sign up for FREE and as one of his friends.   So of course I did.   Yeah right ...

2.  A Good Example.

My friend Freddy Rodriguez wrote a Blog post today called How I Generate Endless Free Leads in Just 17 Minutes a Day on Facebook.  In it I loved his phrase about people 'spewing their MLM all over people.'   When I read it and watched his video it was refreshing for a number of reasons.

Why?

1.   He reminded me of the training I have had about how to connect on Facebook PROPERLY

2.  He shows you a real example of how to do this

3.  He is a warm, connecting person himself.
