Two months ago I wrote an article about some Facebook Marketing Secrets, and I got a lot of good feedback from it.  I wanted to revisit this topic and share with you some new information I learned on how to turn Facebook into a cash producing machine for life!

If you are ignoring Facebook in your marketing campaign, you are definitely missing out on some free leads.   Most people say that you can’t generate free leads, but I beg to differ.  With sites like Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn there is no reason why you shouldn’t be generating free leads on a daily basis.

So I’m sure your sponsor has probably told you to set up a free Facebook account and add as many network marketers as possible.  But now that you have your Facebook account, you are probably wondering, what the heck do I do now?

The most important step I see network marketers make on Facebook, is that the fail to create relationships.  For example when a guy likes a girl, doesn’t he try to find out as much information about the girl as possible?  He gets to know the girl and he caters to the girl if they want the same things in life. 

This same truth can be applied in network marketing.  I know you have heard it a million times already, but people only buy from those they know, like, and trust.

So here are some sure fire ways to make sure that you are creating relationships with your friends on Facebook, and not turning them away. 

-          When you add a new friend to Facebook, send them a welcome email saying “hi, how you are doing.”  You don’t approach with your business first, because nobody cares.

-          When they respond following up saying something like “Are you in network marketing?”

-          Continue to build on the relationship by asking questions.  Get to know the wants and needs of your prospects, and stop thinking about yourself.

Network marketing is about building up people.  If only people will realize that it is not about you, but it is about the community as a whole, they will find that MLM is not as hard as people make it out to be.

Here are some more questions to ask when prospecting for customers on FB

-          How long have you been in network marketing?

-          Do you currently market online?

-          What is your favorite way to get leads for your business?

-          Do you use Facebook to generate leads for your business?

-          Do you want to Learn How to generate leads using Facebook?

After I find out the needs of the market, and if I have something to help them out in the current endeavors, I will send them an invite to some free training that either I’m hosting, or some free training that is part of my marketing system. 

By not pitching my business upfront, I am establishing myself as a leader and not a peddler.  If you send them some information that is actually valuable and they actually learned something that they can apply right away, they will thank you for it.  Now you potentially have a new business partner for life whenever they are deciding to join a network marketing company.
