Facebook Marketing Secrets: How To Get 50 Leads Per Day Using This Free Strategy

Read More: Social Networking

Facebook is one of the most effective FREE marketing strategies (similar to
MySpace) if you know what you are doing!

Unfortunately not everyone knows how to market on Facebook effectively.

I was listening to a good friend of mine audio series today “The 10K per
Month Attraction Marketing Blueprint.”

He said “Look at what everyone else is doing and do the complete opposite.”

When I look at my Facebook newsfeed I see everyone promoting their latest and
greatest business opportunity to anyone who will listen, and even to those who
don’t.

I see the same marketer’s promoting something else next month.  I also see
the same marketers in about 5 to 10 different programs and trying to promote
them all at the same time.  If you want to be successful at social media, you
have to first become a “marketer” and not a “peddler.”

Peddlers are people who lurk around do a little bit here and quit.  Then they
bombard scam.com calling MLM a scam and everything that look like it a scam.

A marketer is constantly promoting themselves and creating their brand.  A
marketer persists until they succeed.  A marketer doesn’t stop, a marketer keeps
going.

You need to promote You Inc. and not you’re Business Inc.

I see network marketer’s being what I like to call “Program Hoppers.”  You
never know what business they are going to pitch; because it is always something
different.

It comes back to Attraction Marketing- this is the only way if you want to
get the best results from Facebook.

In this post I am going to cover 6 tips for marketing on Facebook:

Step 1- Adding Friends- Most people add friends by adding high rollers such
as Mike Dillard and then add all his friends.

Remember we are doing the exact opposite.  Go to different network marketing
groups and also see if there are any groups on “the secret.”

Add 30 people a day; so you will not get in trouble with the Facebook Police.

Step 2- Groups- Most people add themselves to as many groups as possible and
post their link to their business opportunity.

Add yourself to groups of great influence.  Post to the group wall a “funded
proposal.”

If the group allows videos and links, add those to the group as well.

Step 3- Start Your Own Group- Start your own group around You Inc. and not
your Business Inc.

Offer valuable content and resources to your group members.

Step 4- Your Friends Wall- Instead of posting a quick message on your
friend’s wall saying hi or join my business.

Create a welcome video and tag your new friends in it.  This isn’t the time
to pitch your products.

Introduce yourself and let people know that you are here to help them.

Step 5- Broadcasting Messages- Broadcast messages only to your group
members.

Don’t you hate when someone tag you into a message about their opportunity?

Remember the law of attraction: spammers attract after their own kind and
leaders attract after their own kind.

No one likes a spammer, remember the law of average.  People only join
leaders.

Step 6- Cross Promote Your Group- Contact other group members in your niche
and offer to invite your group members to their group if they will do the same
thing.

Now don’t think that you are giving away your target market.  Remember most
people are doing the same thing and that is why they are failing.

Most people will agree to this because everyone wants a larger circle of
influence.

To YOUR Success,

Lakisha Copeland

facebook marketing

Good Morning Lakisha,
Great advise.
The excitement of a new opportunity really gets us in the "verbal vomit" mode & I agree that can put folks off.
Hope you're having a great day

Great Info!

Thanks for the Facebook info! Looks like I've been doing it all wrong and that is probably why I'm not getting any results! I'll try "doing the opposite" and see what happens! May I follow you and see what you're doing?

Enjoyed your post. Indeed there are many Peddlers out there, you just gotta let them peddle away until they flatten their tires.

I don't use facebook much, but have had an account for a year or so. Thanks to your helpful tips, I'm gunna go get me a large volume of contacts utilizing the laws of attraction marketing.

Have a Wonderful Day, Bye,

Great Info

This made me remember Jim Rohn's message that a new business needs a philosophy. We network around our philosophy first, the business is a natural outcome. I will gratefully use your advice on Face book!
Thanks

Social Media Marketing Common Sense

Thanks for posting some common sense ideas for social media marketing. Those who are doing it "the wrong way" make it so much easier for the rest of us, ha!

The old philosophy applies - if you wouldn't do it offline, don't do it online either.

No one walks into a party blatantly "pitching" their deal. So why do people do this online? It trashes the whole profession of network marketing.

Sell people on YOU first and the business will naturally follow!

EXPECT Success!

50 Leads on Facebook

Thank you Lakisha. Your simple approach makes sense. I keep deleting "friends" who do nothing but promote. I look forward to hearing more from you.

Thanks Lakisha

Hi Lakisha... thanks for that, much appreciated.

I saw a video today by Ivan Misner (BNI founder) and he said about networking "it's not what you know or who you know it's how well you know them." The same applies to Facebook, MySpace, Twitter and all the others.

I've been a member of Ecademy.com for a number of years and they have in my opinion made a big mistake in encouraging (or even allowing) mass contact requests. It's now more like SPAM coming in rather then a genuine networking request. What a great network we have with BN - thanks to folks like you with great content!

All the best

Richard
P.S. My 2 minute YouTube video on how not to approach people on the phone should raise a smile. I'll post it on BN as well: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tLU1eI-BTLo

The Product is You

You must become a Network Marketing Professional to become successful.
Your business is You and the products and services are secondary.
Direct Sales and Network Marketing in general is built on relationships. You must become a leader to be successful in this business. You are teaching and training people to become leaders in your organization. Leadership training is very powerful. You are building an organization where you can leverage the results of memebers on your team. If you are not a leader you must become one so you can build your organization and become successful.
Keep the Faith and Stay Positive

Great observations regarding Facebook

Thanks for sharing your Facebook observations. It's terrific information.

The bad examples you shared continue to give the network marketing industry a bad reputation.

You hit it right on with "You need to promote You Inc. and not you’re Business Inc."

I'll Be Damned Lakisha, You Screwed Up...

...You went and busted the bubble of all the desperate wanna be networker marketing millionaires out there and told them they weren't going to become rich pumping self serving, fake, garbage into a sea of uninterested people, most of whom are the absolute worst prospects you could let into your organization.

Truth told, most people on facebook just wanna see the pictures in your facebook gallery or if they can hook up a rendevous with an old high school flame.

There's nothing more I love than plain truth about what it takes to succeed in a home business; skills, effort, and real value you can offer to others they don't already have.

Just coming across you, but I'm impressed. You're a TRUE leader people should pay attention to.

Lakisha, Reading your post

Lakisha,

Reading your post was like a breath of fresh air. It was not only great information but it brought responses from people I'd truly like to network with. Reading their responses to you, identifies them as the type of people I want to join my new group...as soon as I form it! lol
