A GREAT OPPORTUNITY MOST OF US MISSED

Are you aware that there was an international summit that took place between 25th to 29th of January 2012? Are you also aware that more than seventy billionaires and loads of multimillionaires also attended? Most importantly, are you aware that the best brains in every field of endeavor including the area you are currently operating in were at Davos for those five days?

Why am I asking these questions? I was reading what some of the billionaires that came to Davos were saying. Somehow, from what they were saying, I could see they dissected a problem in way quite different from the way most people try to solve a problem. I was able to learn some novel insights about the current economic turmoil ravaging many countries of the world. I learnt things that most ordinary people are not aware of.

I saw how these great minds applied ideas to their business.Most of the great men that attended the world economic forum shared ideas freely will everyone.

Sandberg of Facebook made headlines at the forum. In fact it was like FACEBOOK was waiting for the Forum to come before announcing its IPO.

You may now wonder how this concerns you directly as a person. It concerns you because of the huge opportunity you and I missed for not following what happened at Davos.

New, innovative and simple to implement ideas were shared freely at Davos but the major opportunity most average people missed was that a channel was opened for anyone who wanted to ask any one a question about any pressing challenge he or his community is facing.

Lets say the down turn hit your community so hard, a channel was created for you to ask a Billionaire how your people can solve the problem and he would have answered your question with wonderful insight you never knew a human being could come up with.

I am also kicking myself because I just learnt about the channel after the summit had come and gone. Who knows the kind of insight I might have gotten from George Soro on how to take calculated risks in business.

I did not know about it and missed the opportunity. I have therefore decided to actively follow any other such gathering of the caliber of people that came to Davos. I know that if you track the activity of a great man long enough, you will discover the secret to his success. If you track the activity of great men and women long enough, you would become great and indispensable to your country and the world.

One other vital thing you must do now is to Google those in your field that attended the forum and read or listen to what they said. I believe the insight you will get will amaze you
