If you're already using Twitter, you can use http://Search.Twitter.com to search specific topics and find targeted people to follow who are tweeting in real time.

By the way, if you don't have time to Twitter ever day, there are many services what will allow you to schedule pre-written or future tweets to be sent at a specific time of your choosing and keep your account updated regularly.  The following is a partial list these services.

Stumble Upon owned URL shortener (with some additional features including link scheduler for future publishing on Twitter and Facebook.)

Taweet – Free Sign-up

Twaitter – Free Sign-up.  If you have a Twitter acct. you already have a Twaitter acct. (With Twaitter you can update all of your social profiles as they have Ping.fm integration.

TweetFunnel – “Free to try it”.  Sounds like it will be a paid service but future cost is not revealed

Tweet-U-Later – Free Sign-up

TwitResponse – Free Sign-up but it looks like this one is intended to be a paid service.  Lots of legalese in the terms and conditions

Twuffer – Free to Sign-up but donations are appreciated
