Network Marketing Solved

Why Do I need Robo Form?

The essence of software is to make our lives easier in a variety of ways and this drives billions of dollars in product development.

Have you ever asked yourself how people manage to find and send links to you so quickly? They always seem to have them on hand. Maybe there was an Internet Marketing Tool  that could help me?

When I began I had a great mentor and we would Skype each other regularly and each time she would send me various links. Where was I supposed to store them? I tried putting them into Exel but that was time consuming and then I produced a cheat sheet in Word but this was so slow and time consuming and now I was getting  to overwhelm with something that should be organised and easy. I didn’t like to ask how she did it in case it made me look stupid.

Don’t let this happen to you..

It was like a fairy story… One day a colleague suggested I tried Robo Form as a method of saving  all my links, favourite webs sites and snippets of information that I needed on a regular basis.

This was an easy decision to make and I downloaded it immediately and then because of the overload immediately forgot all about it.
A little box kept popping up and asking me if I wanted to save an identity or passcard. I thought it was becoming a nuisance so I either deleted it or investigated further.

Thank goodness I chose the latter......

With hindsight I would recommend viewing their site and then return to the set up tasks.

So what is Robo Form?

It is an Internet Marketing Tool that will safely store all your details, passwords, links and even personal details that help you fill forms automatically and quickly and with one click you are logged into a secure site.

How does it work?

To get started…….

Create your account and get your log in details ( similar to other sites you join) then you can login.

Before you proceed further I suggest that you explore their site, especially the Screen Shots and Tutorial Videos which will give you a good general overview.

First thing you do is set up some folders. These will organise and classify your files,Passcards, identities and Safe notes.

Think of the sites and topics that you use most frequently for easy access.

I set up:

Renegade

Affiliates

Favourite Website

Super Guides

Here is the basic system

  • Safe notes.
This is where you store your Passcards, links and passwords.
New Safenotes have the option of auto save before closing.

Identities.
This fills long non-password forms from your personal profile that is called identity.
It fills in forms of sites not previously visited.
Fill in your identity once with all your personal data and the Robo Form will enter this information into web pages and forms for you. You can have more than one identity.

You can manage and delete your Identities, add and delete and password protect.

Forms
Enter your personal details that are asked for.

When you come to form fill on website you have 3 choices

  •  Auto Fill
  •  Drag and drop
  • Copy and Paste
  •        Bookmarks

New websites can be book marked for future uses.

     Search Cards

These allow you to search for web sites directly from the toolbar. There are comprehensive downloads available but the volume of information can at first look overwhelming.

    • Don’t let this happen again…..….

Instead of trying to take it all in at first take a look at their videos, then take the basic steps outlined above. The rest can follow later.

Robo Form has many additional features not mentioned here, right up to a paid professional level. For the middle sized business the free version is more than adequate. The site is very secure and your information is protected.

Check the above site out, and let your new non-overwhelmed organised life begin.

    Got Lost Along The Way

I used to have Roboform and found it quite good to work with. Then one day I no longer was using it. Reason why? don't have one. So thanks for this, as it is rekindling my interest and desire to use a tool that can only make my life easier.

    Another password management tool

I have used many password programs in the past and Sticky Password is right up there with the best of them. It is very easy to use and saves much time by automatically filling in user name and password info. On top of that a built in password generator is icing on the cake.

    Thank You

    Hi Judith,

It was after reading your article, posted on your blog, that I decided to give it a try. Honestly, I have not spent adequate time researching it, because I just find the pop up window a nuisance. Obviously, I need to do a bit more investigating.

    Thanks for the reminder.

Cataloguing all those Links and IDs

I was flipping through my notebook...yes, pen and paper record...for a username and password this morning.

I was thinking of setting up an Excel doc.

Thanks for this, I'll have to have a look. I truly want something that is user friendly and consistently available.

    Who Doesn't Need Organized?

Organization is defintely not one of my strengths (so I've been told). This sounds very interesting. I will definitely have to take a look.

    I'd Be Lost Without...

    ROBOFORM!!!

Since the last Firefox upgrade my RoboForm plugin isn't working and it's driving me NUTS! I have come to depend on this tool completely to keep me from being locked out of the dozens of sites we all need to use as internet attraction marketers.

Thanks for bringing it to everyone's attention Judith and I hope FireFox reads this and gets a clue before I get fed up and switch browsers.

    Robo Form.

    Hi Judith,

This is a very informational article. I have heard of Robo Form in the past but never used it. I didn't know it would do all these things. I can see that it will be a great help to me. Thanks.

    Robo Form

I love robo form I've been using it for years and would be lost without it. I get robo form to generate all my passwords for maximum security. Though it kind of sucks not being able to logon to any of my sites when I'm away and forgot my robo form data files at home.

Making the little things alot easier

Don't know what I'd do without this little handy piece of software,I've used it for years as well automation at it's best!

    This is a Winner

    Judith

You have really pointed out a terrific tool. I have used it for about a year and I don't know what I would do without it. I use it to save my passwords and fill out forms but you have shown other uses also. I tell others about RoboForm but you have done it so well I am now going to just send them to your article. Thanks for the great job.

    I Love RoboForm

I have been using Roboform for about a year now. It is great for saving my own information and for clients information as well. I love how it can be pass-worded and it keeps me very organized. My job would be so much harder and frustrating without RoboForm on the job with me.

    Dotty Scott — Sat, 10/17/2009 - 10:13pm

    Thanks for the Advice

Valuable article Judith! I've been using Roboform for years and don't know what I 'd do without it. But, I've never gone through the tutorials to learn to do what you described in your article. Imagine all the good I will get out of it now that I know I'm only partially using it!
    Thanks so much.

    Giving it Another Shot

Thank you, Judith! Like you, I had been using it and then got frustrated with it always popping up when I entered a site. Thanks to your wisdom you shared in this article, I will once again venture into Robo-Land and give this a shot. I didn't realize that I could store different identities....that's a big plus for me and what I do.

    LeeAnn McVey — Sun, 10/18/2009 - 11:06am

Hear about it a lot! Now I will try...

Judith, Thank you! I have heard about it a lot from others. I appreciate this thorough explantion.

    Andrea Sieres — Sun, 10/18/2009 - 1:48pm

    You've convinced me!

Judith, I considered doing RoboForm but didn't want to be bogged down by another 'tool'. Can you imagine that! You've convinced me to take another look. My habit of filing by piling has got to end and this will be a great way to begin.

    Hi Michelle,
I have to agree about the pop up window.

Does anyone know how to solve this please?

    Getting Organized

As a girl who lives by the ever present post-it note, I have to try this out. Anything to make life simpler gets an A+ in my book. The post-it note people probably won't be happy, but oh well. Whacha gonna do? Thanks for the tip, Judith.
