Social Media and Social Marketing are definitely the buzz words these days and everyone wants to get in on the action. Social Networking sites hold tremendous promise for people hell bent on building their MLM Businesses online without a significant marketing budget and it completely levels the playing field.

The problem is most people have no idea how to even approach their Social Media Marketing let alone be successful with it. There are hundreds if not thousands of Social Networking sites and more and more are coming out week after week, month after month so what is one to do? Where do you focus your time? How do you build a following and How do you leverage this Massive Market place?

Understand that these sites hold tremendous power for the person who is willing to do things the right way… do it wrong however and you can ruin your reputation before you even start!

So what is the right way?

…well i can tell you it has nothing to do with blasting your ‘Spamvertisement‘ to a brand new audience.. not only can this type of mindless behavior get you banned it will damage your reputation and Reputation and Brand Recognition is all you have in Social Media. Your Brand and your reputation will determine your ultimate Success within these core sites.. Social Media IS all about building relationships and expanding your warm market. Your warm market expands when new connections warm up to you once they find out they have something in common.

Don’t be that guy or gal who figures that a quick promotion here and there will get you ahead.. IT WONT!! did you know that most people on Facebook consider Group invites etc as Spam..? think about that the next time you want to post an ad or a link on one of your new friends wall…

Your friends and connections, your ‘Tribes’, are your most valuable asset… treat them like GOLD… that means always with respect, strive to bring Value to their day and Give without Expectation. If i could share with you the essence of Successful Social Marketing in one sentence it would go something like this…

“Reach out and Connect, Be Interested not Interesting, Exercise Respect and Transparency in all your communications, be Strong but humble, Be Proud of what you do, participate and always be the one remembered for bringing Value.”

Do this and you will position yourself as a Social Media Icon within your industry…

I liken this time in social media to the Gold Rush.. everyone is scrambling to get set up and to stake their claim.. but it is still mostly virgin territory and almost every niche is waiting for Authority Figures to rise up and take their place as the new breed of Leadership.

Thankfully for you most people don’t know how to do it right and quite frankly can’t be bothered to learn.. So this is where you come in… Now is YOUR chance… you can get started on an equal footing with some of the biggest names in the game… you to gain a massive following, build incredible tribes and set your self up for wealth like your never thought possible.
