Stop Selling and Start Giving….Value!

Some times I wish I could shout it to all the people on Facebook, Myspace and the other networks who I accept there friend ship and in the very next letter I received a business offer that is the greatest thing on the internet and is going to make me rich. Where is the Etiquette? Am I the only one that learned the laws of attraction? Put your self in my place for a moment and you receive an email from me that says “thanks for accepting me as a friend, look I got this website that is going to make you 7 figures a year just click right here”. What are you like to do with this email and the next that you receive from me? That is right. Delete it. Why wont 95% of the unsuccessful people get it?

Now change the picture and now after accepting my friend ship, you are receiving emails that offer tips on how to get more traffic to your website or a video that’s titled “How to post a video on more than one website at a time”. Now I am giving my social network friends value. They are looking forward to receiving my emails or messages. After a few emails like this do you not believe the recipient of the emails is not going to take a serious look at you by visiting your blog or your bio on Facebook. Do you think they are not going to seek your advice or leadership?

If you are looking to be leader who is sought after and not continue to seek new prospect to join you in your business, you have to start giving and then you will receive. “You Can Only Get What You Want, If You Help Enough Other People Get What They Want” Zig – Ziglar made this quote famous and he spoke the truth. The problem is we are looking for microwave success. This is not going to happen.

Keep this one principle in mind “you have to give more than you receive”. Then when people are ready to make that decision on who to entrust their future success to, who do you think they will seek out?
