Twitter Account Monetizing  Part 2

Now that you have your Twitter account set up and are following people and have others following you, it’s time to start to monetize your new found social media site.

Start sending Tweets (messages) out from your home page on Twitter. You are allowed 140 characters per tweet.  So they must be direct and to the point.  Send out approximately 10 per day.

Do NOT place 10 advertising tweets. People will not read them or they will stop following you altogether.  Everyone is becoming immune to ads and pretty much just by pass them.  Put out inspiring, motivating, or even funny quotes plus something of a common interest.  To find some of these, just use our best friend on the internet named Google.  Between these quotes, post maybe two to three ads worded to attract prospects to your site.  That site could be your blog, facebook, myspace or your business landing page.

Reply or retweet (RT) other people’s tweet that you like or that you think are of some value to others. You do this by clicking on their Twitter name and put RT at the beginning of the message to indicate that you are forwarding someone else’s message to your followers.

Then there is direct messaging.  This is a private message sent to a follower. No one else sees this message but the two of you.  This follower must be following you in order for you to be able to send a direct message.  Otherwise, any message you send a non follower will be public.

The object here is let people get to know you with short messages and then get them to your business opportunity.  Again, invite them to your blog, facebook, myspace, wherever they can get to know you better.  This is where you can show your true value to others and get them to sign up in your network marketing business.

To your success!
