Now you might think that this is doubling up because Simple Twitter Status Updates also sends out a tweet when you publish a new post.  However , since Twitter moves at such a rapid rate by the time both plugins do their thing the tweets will not go out at the exact same moment.  This is just a way to get more exposure for your new post.

Tweet Old Post

Tweet Old Post will randomly select your older posts and send out tweets about them.  You can specify how old they have to be before they are used by this plugin and also how often Tweet Old Post is allowed to tweet.

Twitter Marketing Tip #2: WordPress Integration

Another way to get your blog to integrate with Twitter is through Facebook.  Facebook has two applications which can be used to syndicate your RSS feed.
