Why Follow Friday Your Spaghetti Bolognese
Was looking at my time-line on Twitter last Friday, and thought WOW, this Follow Friday thing is out of control.
Just imagine, you wanted to get your business, charity or your best recipe for Spaghetti Bolognese out there in your city, but no one is noticing you and your marketing efforts. (By the way, I make a mean Bologense) But then someone tasted your ragu sauce and tells Mrs Jenkins who lives down the street who then tells Uncle Jeff in New Zealand, and so on. Then people will start following what you are doing, (Like Twitter) and they will start spreading the word that they should follow you. (Follow Friday)
You really have to get on the Follow Friday band wagon, but first you really need to get noticed on Twitter, stick out from the crowd, tweet valuable content, get interacting with your fellow twitters, and then you will start seeing your Twitter name mentioned on Follow Fridays. Check out my post Top 10 Twitter Tips to help you with this.
But don't forget to give the Twitter Follow Friday love back, I always try my best to #FF my followers who are putting great stuff out there, and also people who have retweeted me back during the week.
So just like my mamma used to say, " Thats-a spicy meat-a-ball" be that meatball, and get people shouting out your name on Twitter.
