Working Hard and Getting Nothing
Many people work very hard in network marketing and have nothing to show for it. They call all their friends and relatives and find that people do their best to dodge them. People are burned out and do not want anything to do with network marketing.
What many people do not realize is they have the right idea but not the right information to help them.
Most people who are successful in network marketing know that it works. However, they also know the right information to make it work. They understand their compensation plans and have read their policies and procedures. They have learned to search for a company that is best for them.
Why be in a company that the cards are stacked against us?
Company A shows us that in order to make a 10,000 dollar residual income we need about 6,600 people in our downline. Company B shows us that we need about 400 people in our downline. Company B will give us more success than company A.
In order to come up with the answer to the 10,000 dollar question we need to learn to read our compensation plans. We need to learn to calculate so we know what company we are in.
When we cannot find the compensation plan or policies and procedures we need to run from that company. If we have to join a company in order to obtain our compensation plan and or policies and procedures we need to run.
Finding the right information and training to obtain skills needed in network marketing are not that difficult. Many information and training are free. An E-book that has helped me is a book called Success in 10 Steps by Michael Dlouhy.

But surely...
Surely the company isn't the thing that brings us success Jared, I'm not going with that one. Companies are just vehicles, just like systems & tools, the thing that makes them work or fail are the operators. What determines success is ourselves and how appropriately and effectively we educate, train and equip ourselves.
What do you think ? I'd like to hear anyone else's thoughts on this too.

Yes Roger you are Right
But when you make money in a Company it changes your posture. When you get a pay check How does that make you feel? Your Belief Rises and You become more Determined. So if it takes longer to get a check Because you need 28 people just to cover product what do you tell your team and how long will they stick around to get 28 customers? It's important to choose the right company to achieve your goals and once you have a clear idea on how to do that, then you need to work consistently towards achieving them. The company you choose should be simple to understand, the more complicated it is, the harder for your downline to grow in it and many other factors influence such as tools and trainings offered by your company, but of course the #1 decision is to choose the right company and then to work it and watch your team grow.
The whole is made up of the pieces of the pie
There's the company which includes their financial backing, legal, accounting, management experience, even the name that says integrity or lack there of
There's the product which has the potential to add value to our lives.
There's the comp plan which is complicated or simple and powerful for beginers and those with long-term experience.
...and there's YOU!
It takes all of those pieces to be solid, balanced and open to always learning and growing with the journey that make up the whole pie. And the YOU part is absolutely one of the most important parts as we all deal with the company, the product, the compensation plan with the only real varial is US.
