Sorting Out Internet Marketing Systems

When I first heard about Internet Marketing, I figured you had to be a techie, have an IT background or hire someone to do it for you. Then I started learning about various systems that anyone can use to start making money on the Internet tomorrow and I voraciously devoured as much info as I could and frantically started learning about attraction marketing, lead capture pages, web 2.0, SEO and a whole host of things I had never even heard of a few weeks earlier.

I read Mike Dillard's Magnetic Sponsoring Book http://netgirlcoaching.magneticsponsoringonline.com/ and Ann Sieg's Marketer's Manifesto http://dlong.renegadeuniversity.com/ru4/sign_up2.asp. I signed up for trial runs of MLM Lead Systems Pro and Renegade Professional, and tried to figure out which system was best for me and most duplicatable. But as I started to try to figure out how to establish myself as an expert at Internet marketing so that somehow thousands of people would be magically attracted to me and sign up for these affiliate programs under me, and then they would be so impressed by my leadership that some would automatically sign up for my primary opportunity, www.trumpnetwork.com/dlong, which was the whole reason I was doing this in the first place, I realized I was nothing more than a fraud. Who was I kidding. I wasn't an online buisness coach anymore than I am a medical doctor! And I never will be (and most of you probably won't either.) I actually had to laugh when a new follower on Twitter (one of the few who followed me because he actually knew someone who I knew and genuinely wanted to get to know me) suggested it was a little bit of a dichotomy to call myself an online marketing coach on twitter when some of my tweets made it clear that I was brand spankin new.

I really started feeling sick when I started getting more and more followers on twitter and every single one of them was tweeting about various systems to help network marketers make more money. There are so many people out there selling so many sytems that it is a wonder how any of us can make a living doing this. But I know that we can. I don't know about you, but I am committing to keep it real. I believe my team has found an internet system that is simple and duplicatable.
