Frustrated?  Don't be.  In my opinion one system isn't going to be the answer.  Take a deep breath, create a plan, find the resources necessary and then be prepared to work - hard !
To laser in and focus on what I see as the major problem with any of the systems out there is two fold.
One - most people (if you can believe the numbers of 97%) are part timers who are interested in making some money this month or next month.   They don't have time to write a blog a day, an article a day, spend an hour on each of their favourite social networking sites, make videos and post them to youtube etc.  They just want to make a little extra money each month to help out or buy those extras.  This is 97% (if the numbers are correct) of your business.  Where is the training to help them?   Shouldn't we be focused on them and their needs and provide them with the tools THEY need?  Success comes from having a large group of people do a few simple things each day !
Two - The wannabe heavy hitters who've turned to the internet need more practical information than how to provide value (although crucial) and leadership skills (crucial).  They need step by step tactical skills.  What's the sense of learning how to blog, make friends, write articles, tweet, create videos, etc.  if they don't know how to put it all together into one sweet package?  Where is the training to help them?  Much as I appreciate all the "gurus" selling their systems I'm waiting for someone to step up to the plate and teach strong, successful marketing skills combining tactical, leadership training and lead generation.
Ed Dale in his 30 day challenge teaches the tactical portion - free ! Max Steingart has excellent lead generation training.  Mike Dillard - adding value/positioning/You Inc.  Jim Rohn, Dr. Dyer, Joe Vitale, Brian Tracy, Napoleon Hill .......... adds the personal development necessary, ?Who? teaches you how to train the large group of people doing a few simple things each day?
For a newbie it takes years to search and find all these different elements from all these different sources and put them together into one seamless flowing package.  No wonder there are so many frustrated network marketers!  Not one system (that I've found) teaches you that success is not instantaneous when you take the approach of blogging, social networking, article writing, videos.  It takes months of dedicated daily effort to have those methods pay off.
Time someone stepped up to the plate and provided what network marketers need to truly be successful.   The complete package to help network marketers train the 97%ers and the heavy hitter wannabees!
To your success,
Joyce Penner

Great post

Joyce, I have been wondering the same things. The first thing that I would like to suggest is to keep it simple.

There is simply "too much information" available on the internet today.
The second is: Don't give people too much information to start with.

A little bit of background about you. Perhaps enough information to create curiosity on the part of your readers and then only provide your phone number for them to contact you if they want more information.

If you give them your website address, they will "kick the tires." If you provide a Landing or Squeeze Page, most people will not leave their phone numbers. If you provide the name of your company, they will do a "google search." This does not give you a whole lot of contacts with which to build your business now does it?

I am changing my approach to internet marketing TODAY! to include the above suggestions. I will let you know what happens.

I agree Chris

Way too many people are fudging their phone numbers and email addresses on regular landing pages. Giving them a tangible product works (I've found). Google is a pain and a blessing all at the same time.
Please let us know how your change of plans work.
Appreciate you,
Joyce Penner
