Still Trying to Reinvent the Wheel? No Wonder You're Failing!
Modern airplanes have been flying around the world very successfully for decades.
In fact, air travel is widely acknowledged as the safest mode of transport on the planet.
So, what would your thinking be if the industry were to come out and tell us that airplanes as we knew them were being replaced by new models with just one wing, an electric engine, and skates instead of wheels?
These new models wouldn’t get us from A to B that much faster, but were being tested for the sake of a new way of flying.
Well, most people wouldn’t like the use of the word “tested” as it means these new models weren’t verified as safe, and secondly if the airplanes we’re so used to still work effectively and efficiently what’s the point in replacing them?
Especially with a new model that may end up being far more dangerous in the sky!
“OK Mavis, what on earth do airplanes and fictional new ways of flying have to do with making money online and building a successful business?” I hear you cry!
Well, quite a bit.
Let me explain…
As the old saying goes, “If it’s not broken, don’t try and fix it!”
If something is proven to work, there is absolutely no point in changing it. Especially when you’re replacing a tried and tested system with something you don’t know will work.
This especially applies to business!
Allow Me to Explain!
See, I connect with my subscribers to see what they're focused on in their businesses and how I can help them to move forward.
Furthermore, I receive phone calls and emails daily from people who are struggling in their businesses and wanting my advice and recommendations.
Here are some of the examples:
"Hi Mavis, I'm happy I found your blog, I love what you're doing. My focus now is finding a lead generation system that can help me brand myself and promote my business. I'll be glad if there's any way you can help."
"Hi Mavis, I have just started with my new business venture and am looking at learning how to market the business, which is how i got on to your site. What would you suggest would be the most beneficial way to start?"
"I am into network marketing in XYZ* Inc. I really want to make a small income (say $2,500/mo) from this business, so I can comfortably put food on my family dining table. I have difficulty getting people online to join me. If you can help me learn how to attract people and convince them to join me."
*Company name changed.
Too many examples to share with you but I think you get the idea...
Maybe you're one of these people who approached me with the problems that are standing between them and success.
Now, here's what I don't understand...
I share with my blog readers and subscribers a proven marketing system, techniques, and blueprint showing them exactly how I went from MLM business failure to a success story in a very short space of time... How I went from zero to #1 female blogger and more.
I outline how I go about marketing, networking, monetising my blog, holding nothing back... ...and still people are looking for a magic bullet.
Why do people tend to do the SAME things that are NOT bringing them the desired results, regardless of evidence or advice that suggests they might do better with something else?
So with all this information at your fingertips, why do I think people are still asking the same questions over and over, not taking any action?
Information Addiction
Many of us are perfectionists. We don’t like to fail and we want things to go right first time. Whilst this is an admirable quality I believe it can lead to problems in your business.
Why?
1. Information overload: By taking on too much information, and attempting to learn too much by reading you can literally overwhelm your brain with information.
There’s only so much information your brain can physically process and action at one time, and doing nothing but reading is likely to lead to the dreaded information overload, or analysis paralysis.
You’re best to do some reading, and then put what you’ve learned into action. Don’t worry if it’s not perfect first time...
Practice makes perfect, and by doing something practical your brain is more likely to hold onto what you’ve learned.
2. Failure to act: When you do nothing but read you’re doing nothing physically to get nearer to your goals.
There’s nothing wrong with preparation but taking that first step is the only way you’re going to start seeing results.
Imagine if you did nothing but read to a baby about how to walk rather than letting them try on their own.
None of us would walk until we were much older!
So, have you turned reading emails and articles online in to a new hobby?
Here's the thing, knowledge without implementation is useless.
If you keep taking information in, and not doing anything about it, nothing will change.
And then what?
You will just continue to tread the hamster wheel of life, trading time for money while the months and years are flying by :(
3. You’ll begin to procrastinate: The other problem with too much information and the constant search for new money making “systems” and opportunities is, the longer you remain immobile the quicker you’ll start to procrastinate!
No matter how much you try to avoid it, procrastination will get you. Eventually it becomes easier to sit back and do nothing than to take action.
So What Should You Do?
Stop trying to reinvent the wheel and get moving! The wheel is just fine as it is!
The information is there at your fingertips, you just need to act on it. People have already gone through the hard work of trying out new systems and techniques so you don’t have to.
Instead of looking for a magic bullet, take what works and run with it!
That's the only way you'll STOP struggling and create success!
Key Takeaway
My goal is to help people achieve success in their businesses.
I know what it's like to struggle, spending more money than you're making!
Let me help you out if you have the DETERMINATION to transform your business...
It's YOUR Choice.
Your Turn:
Why do people tend to do the SAME things that are NOT bringing them the desired results, regardless of evidence or advice that suggests they might do better with something else?
