Everyone goes through this stage in network marketing when they first get started.  The only thing you think about is......

HOW DO I GET ME ONE?

Am I right?

Your looking to put someone, anyone for that matter in business with you so that you can turn a profit for yourself.  Nothing wrong with turning a profit, however, at some point you will or have realized that you cannot build a long term sustainable business this way.

Everyone knows people do business with people they know, like and trust. 

If this is the case then why do so many make the mistake of looking at people as a dollar sign?  Sure it's ok to do it for ROI purposes as an experienced marketer.  But for recruiting purposes?

Fugetabotit!

Want to build a long term business? Always lead with value.  Be willing to give away way more than you are asking in return.

This is how to develop trust and a fan base.

Think about what turned you on to Internet Marketing?  I am going to bet that it was some sort of value based marketing that led you into it right?

Well if that is the case, why wouldn't you lead with the same premise?

Stop trying to pitch your business opportunity and pitch your skill sets.  People need to know how much you care, not how much you know so you want to be careful about self promotion, but rather give yourself away.

Be willing to give away your very best stuff.

This is how to develop the relationship necessary for long term business, growth, etc.

If people stop looking at people as a dollar sign and start looking at people as an asset, there would be way more success in this industry.
