Practicing These Business Etiquette Tips Are What’s Going To Keep You In Business, No B.S.

business etiquette tips, manners and etiquette, network marketing etiquetteIt’s nothing new in this industry to find a few network marketers that STILL don’t understand the concept of value driven marketing. Allow me to explain!

You see, my students and I have a very close relationship in which we share stories and events that happen in our lives, specifically if it relates to business.

So as I was conducting one of my “Personal Coaching” trainings with one of my team members, he shared a very unique, but too often heard of horror story about business etiquette tips in network marketing.

You see, he was researching on a new marketing technique with some self-proclaimed “Marketing GURUS” and was approached with an aggressive marketing technique.

What do I mean by aggressive marketing technique? Simple. Here’s an example:

“Time and success waits for nobody! It’s time to make a decision to invest in your future. I run a ‘No Excuse’ business. And those that make excuses WILL BE replaced!”

Seriously people! SERIOUSLY!

It Seems As If Most Business Etiquette Tips Have Been Thrown Out The Network Marketing Window

Don’t you think? Lately, a ton of so-called “Marketing Know-It-All’s” have been blasting out messages across to poor newbie network marketers that honestly don’t know YET how to distinguish VALUE from someone just simply trying to make a buck.

For that simple reason, let’s go over some business etiquette tips that will allow you to distinguish between someone that’s just out for your money and someone that’s truly genuine about offering you their absolute attention and support.

Business Etiquette Tips #1

  • Always Lead With Value – Aggressive marketing techniques will only damage your reputation as a professional in this industry. It also labels you as the “asshole” in the party. (Direct quote from Perry Belcher) ;-)

Business Etiquette Tips #2

  • Manners and Etiquette – When someone voices their opinion, remember that it is ONLY an opinion. And this country was built on the opinions of great leaders. But don’t take someone’s opinion personally and make the BIGGEST mistake of your network marketing career and reply with a very UNPROFESSIONAL response.

Business Etiquette Tips #3

  • Don’t Label Yourself As A Guru – Because it’s NOT your place to do so. “Why” you ask? Because in reality, it is your audience’s or followers place to label YOU as one. For example, Mike Dillard did not label himself as a GURU, we did! Because of the tremendous value he offers to us all. So take Mike’s example and EARN that label. ;-)

So Keep Your Manners And Etiquette Professional At All Times

Guys (and gals), it’s very simple really! Just remember these words: “Be Yourself!”

These business etiquette tips are not meant to be LAWS that you have to follow, but to give you a foundation as to what you’ll need in this industry to survive.

If at first you begin to build a relationship with your prospects by NOT being who you truly are, your “True Colors” will show eventually. ;-)

Well, those are my 2 cents on this subject. LOL! So if you can relate to this and have found these business etiquette tips to be of value to YOU, be sure to click the “ReTweet” and “Facebook” buttons on top.
